Other cubs in the Duran, New Mexico neighborhood were invited to Al and Marge Coyote's house so they can make drawings with the Coyote cubs on that new and unusual drawing set up that Clarence Coyote brought with him from the year 2018 (laptop and drawing tablet). It was a Friday evening in late July of 1960 when these pictures were drawn by the cubs; The Coyote siblings Jed, Rex, Donna and step sibling Clarence. Clarence's girl friend Cheryl. The Fox Siblings Randy, Connie and Alvin. And the Lynx siblings Ryan and Janice.
The idea behind the cars chasing the mummies, drawn by the coyote cubs, was inspired by a couple of novelty mummy songs that played over the store's piped in music when they were racing slot cars at a hobby shop that has a big commercial slot car track...During the playing of those 'mummy' songs, the cubs got a good laugh pretending their slot cars were real cars chasing mummies down the highway. The cars the coyote cubs drew were of the slot cars they have. The cartoon characters in the cars are of some their miniature toy figurines the cubs wired to the chassis of the slot cars up into the car body to make it look like the cartoon characters were driving the cars.
Of course. It's nice to see someone invest the time and effort into their characters. How many other authors/artists have something so simple and supplementary to flesh them out like this? Sure, plenty add a little fluff here and there so they aren't just pure little sex goblins, or just tiny adults. This makes them feel like actual kids, with lives beyond the screen. This is something that so many of us, myself included, seem to forget. I(and others) really should have more things like this.
