Parents can be embarrassing, but you still got to love them~ Tails loves his and any affection they show him means the world to him, but since Cosmo came he tries to act older then he is, but sometimes his parents can't help themselves mostly his mom. She's trying to make up for the years she was never there and still can't see him as the grown fighter he is now.
Before she was able to understand him Tails would try his best to understand her or show her how things worked but he would sometimes fumble things whenever she either got too close to him or she did something he thought was cute.
