As soon as the okay to start fighting was given, Blaze decided to get creative with her chance to scare Cream a bit. Again, the lesson she was trying to teach was about humbleness. Cream had been getting more and more cocky ever since hanging around this place and the way to nurture that was to be fair and balanced but also to not hold back.
Blaze would never actually throw fire at Cream but she figured that if she could trick her into thinking she would, it'd make for a pretty humbling experience. It'd be a little embarrassing to Cream, knowing that the tiny sparks she was going to fling at her were basically harmless but it was necessary.
"What's taking so long Blaze?" Cream asked. "We can start now. Or do you want me to go first?" The bunny girl happily patted the bag she had next to her and unbuttoned the top of it so that it could be given easy access to. "Don't worry. What's in here is a gift for you. You've been so strung out and uptight lately and I think it's because you need a nice little nap and a stroll around town. We can't do that with you dressed that way though."
Blaze raised her brow in confusion. Why was Cream talking like she was her mom? It was very strange, especially considering the age difference. Whatever though. It was time to freak her out.
Blaze flickered some fire between her fingers and smirked a bit before pointing at Cream with finger guns. In an instant, little sparklers of fire shot out and headed her way. They deliberately had so little power behind them that it would be the equivalent to getting your finger shocked by a doorknob if they touched. At most it would annoy you quite a bit.
Unfortunately, whether Cream knew this or not didn't matter. Instantly, the little bunny began to spin and twirl around with a smile on her face. All of Blaze's shots were missing their target. Even if they weren't intended to actually harm her, the fact that Cream was no-selling them was making Blaze look a little silly.
Cream was practically a ballerina here. "What's wrong Baby? I'm just doing a little dance while I wait for you to start fighting me. No need to look so flustered. I guess you must really be tired. I'm gonna have to get you all diapered up and well-rested faster than I thought."
Blaze not only blushed at that comment but got extremely flustered like Cream predicted too. What in the world was she...? Is this for real?
When she heard the giggling from the audience, Blaze's ears stood on end and she shivered a bit.
Okay. Clearly she was going to have to stop trying to scare her and actually fight. This was just making her look dumb.
Cream stopped her dancing a bowed. "We ready to fight now?"
"Ugh." Blaze growled. "You REALLY don't want me to actually fight you Cream. Fine though. It distresses me that it's come to this but I'm going to have to march over there and subdue you physically."
"Distress? Oh dear. You ARE cranky." Cream said, reaching into her bag. In an instant, she took out a baby bottle, shook it a bit, and beamed it at Blaze's head the instant the purple cat tried to take a step.
"Poor baby. Here's your ba-ba!"
Blaze was so confused and shocked by the presence of an actual baby bottle flying at her face that she almost couldn't believe it when it smacked into her head and made her tongue jet out of her mouth. Slobber and drool sprung from her flopping tongue and stars exploded in her field of vision almost instantly.
The ring went from being clear and brightly lit... to hazy and dizzying...!
