The next bout at the Wrestle-Boxing stadium was set up by newcomer, Blaze the Cat. No one had really seen her around before but unbeknownst to them, she was actually a pretty strong fighter, more so than they knew in fact.
Her opponent was a surprise though. It was a little girl named Cream the Rabbit.
They had seen her around here a few times. The first was when she was watching that now infamous fight between Charmy and Bradley, the younger brother of Rolland. Since then, she had been coming back with Bradley to witness more fights and even saw herself participating in a few. Over time, her demeanor began to change a little bit. It wasn't outright noticeable on the surface but you could totally see it in her eyes.
Cream was now the kind of person who'd stand over you with a caring, soothing voice but slyly taunt you with something embarrassing. They could tell. So could Blaze.
Blaze had heard from Amy about Cream's new demeanor and she wasn't too happy about it when she visited the place and saw the way she carried herself in her latest fight. Blaze went up to the counter and decided to challenge Cream herself. The date was set and after a week of anticipation, the time had come.
"You've been way too cocky lately." Blaze straight up let loose with what her problem was and what the intention behind this fight was right off the bat. "Acting tough and being tough are two completely different things though."
She had the intent of teaching her a lesson. She wasn't going to be too tough on her but a little suppression job should do the trick. Maybe even her standing before Cream like this might make this a little too real for the young girl.
"Sure." Was Cream's response. She merely stood there in her fighting outfit with a cocky grin on her face. What Blaze said didn't register as anything to be worried about at all.
Blaze's expression remained the same. Fine. Time for a lesson. "Show me what you got."
