Hi. This is my personal tribute to Niki Lauda, one of the most legendary Formula 1 drivers. I was able to appreciate his story even more thanks to the Ron Howard film, Rush; where the relationship of rivalry/friendship with James Hunt is also told.
At his funeral he wanted to be buried wearing the Ferrari suit of his '74 -'76 championships, and his historic helmet over the coffin.
I can only imagine Hunt welcoming him to heaven, perhaps with some bitch joke about face or age, maybe they'll fuck off with a smile...but then they will go to their cars, and they will race side by side...for eternity.
