A Walk by the River
Something awesome from the furry fandom is that everyone is nerd in at least some area.
Like the photographer nerds who are carrying in their backpacks equipment that sometimes is more expensive than fursuits.

These cute nerds are Mokie Mutt and Yaps Fox.
A gift from Mokie to Yaps, who finally met in person during BLFC.

Traditional. Colored pencils.

Love this one. As a photographer/lab technician, it's been a rough 10 years, thanks to phones and social media. I'm glad someone else out there remembers good old SLR's!

Plenty of people still shoot 135 and 120 film, it just isn't as common as it used to be due to, like you said, the convenience digital brought about, especially once they got into the second and/or third generations of consumer gear.  Not too many labs left though, but thankfully there are still a decent handful in most countries that are still around ^_^

Certain types of photography have seen a lot of development due to digital, but they were the hardest ones for film - night photography (doable with film, just required careful thought beforehand... and a good tripod), infrared photography, and one that's probably seen a huge push thanks to digital would be astrophotography (deep space object astrophotography in particular) due to higher sensitivities, and the ability to readily stack images.

Sometimes?  A bunch of lenses out there cost more than most fursuits, and we're talking just a single lens ^_^;;;

(And no, I'm not talking the big behemoth bazookas like the Sigma 200-500 blah blah blah omg it's so heavy, or the Sony 600mm f-whatever that's $13.5k USD - even some of the 400mm telephoto lenses are several thousand dollars)

Cute pic!

Prices are sky high now because of lack of sales. I mean, who would have ever thought that a company like Minolta would go under?
