Recently my girlfriend started to play Sonic 06. I won't lie, even if the Gameplay sucks I really love this game. I'm probably one of the stupidest fan since I've beat him almost to 100%... Some medals are missing though <<...
Of course, she knows his reputation, but still, she loved it too. Suffering for nothing seems to be normal in our couple xD.
So I did this stupid comix page just for fun. And I would love to plan a hentai but I have so much things to do ><...
I agree if the game wasn't rushed to be in stores there would be so much more to the game by Sega I just wish they still make more 3D game like 06 but better.

Well if the rumors are true we may be getting a remaster or remake of Sonic Adventure 1 or a new game in the Adventure style which I would like as Sonic Adventure DX was my first Sonic game I played

Yeah it is easier to say Infinate is Mephiles as they have similar poses and abilities with the cloning themselves. also the eye is sort of similar to Mephiles own eyes that even I thought Infinate's identity at first was Mephiles.

Infinate was a Mercenary Leader of Jackel Squad that Eggman hired to guard his lab as he did reaseach on the Phantom Ruby, interstingly enough Infinate then had two different coloured eyes (the first Sonic Character to have that feature) and a red sword. He was known as the Ultimate Mercenary before then. He had desires for a world of only the strong which he saw through the ruby hence why he agreed to work with Eggman in the first place.

...Was that in the game, or some comic? Nothing against the comics, but if the game that introduces him can't be bothered to tell me this, then it must not be important.

IDW's start to the Sonic were a couple of prequel comics that tied in how Eggman got the Phantom Ruby, however Infinate's identity as being in the Jackel Squad was in the games as Eggman does name drop them during the mission.

Hey, I suffered through the game when it came out and I was so livid that after I tried over several days to beat the "End of the World" level and constantly failed, that I actually purposely deleted my save data just to use that as an excuse to finally be done with the game. Much as I hated it though, it had it's moments.

Sonic 06 is nothing short of a paradox. The writing is poor and nonsensical, the gameplay is awkward and broken but not completely without merits, there are bugs and glitches galore, the world is basically an unfinished mess, and its original characters are among the worst in the Sonic franchise. And yet... people love the game. I love the game. Why? It's just like the Star Wars prequels. When they first came out people hated them with a passion, (except maybe Revenge of the Memes,) but now they're loved almost as much as the original trilogy. And no it's not just because of the recent Disney movies, people had started to like the prequels before Disney bought the franchise. The difference between the prequels and 06 would be that while they're both bad in their own right, the prequels did manage to expand the mythos and world-building of Star Wars, creating plot holes which were filled with some of the most interesting parts of the franchise, muddling the supposedly untouchable goodness of the Light Side. As for Sonic 06, the whole thing is just slapped together in such a hilariously awkward fashion that it just transcends its poor quality and becomes entertaining, like a perfect collapse. But there has to be something more to it than simply the "so bad it's good"-quality. I know it's there, because I can feel the strange attraction, but I just can't put my finger on it... Why do we love Sonic 06?

It had so much potential. "Rushed" is irrelevant because games are almost always rushed. Instead if they had stuck to the main trio instead of all those playable characters and modes, it woulda negated the rushed problem.

'06 had great potential, it could have been Sonic Adventure 3 if the gameplay was only as polished as the Dreamcast games and they had polished up the ending a bit (we get NO resolution for Shadow and Silver.) As it is, it will forever stand as an example that no franchise is immune to crunch, and rushing a game out to meet some deadline (in this case it was 3 deadlines, 15th aniversarry, PS3/Xbox360 launch, AND holiday season) will forever lead to bad results. I would actually love it if this game could be fixed up and re-released in a truly complete form, then maybe it'll stop being an anchor around the franchise's neck. "Oh, a new Sonic game came out? Don't you remember '06? Sonic sucks!" No asshole, that game made when you were THREE for a different console BY A DIFFERENT TEAM has nothing to do with this awesome game that came out recently.
