Raphael smiled at Mike as they finished their lunch, "so are you ready to get enrolled in your new school? New friends, new teachers, classes, I heard they have a good art class there~ and good teachers that are willing to help any way they can if you have trouble doing something," he said smiling at him.

Mike looked at him,
"I guess..it's gonna be weird though, I'm used to my old crappy school and its crappy teachers and stuff, I don't know if I'm ready to handle teachers that want to help you do stuff you don't know what you're doing, it's kinda easier to just sit there and do your own thing when you can't do something," he replied chuckling, "sitting there and actually having to do the school work, I don't know dude, sounds tricky to me~"

Chuckling at him, "oh I don't know Mike, you might be right, actual work may affect your mind and make it work for once~ Just think, you'll be able to think and do things for yourself...holy shell what a nightmare~"

"oh ha ha daddy, you're such a riot you know that~ You should work as a comedian giving a few insults here and there and a few corny dad jokes too, you'll be such a BIG hit~" Mike smirked at him, wiggling an eyebrow to his sarcasm. "Ok, let's get going before you have to drag me out of here kicking and screaming all the way to this new school," he smiled at him as he rose from the new kitchen chair and followed Raphael out to the hallway.

Raphael chuckled while opening the front door for Mike, watching him walk out before exiting himself, using the new front door key to lock the door,
"ok if I remember right, the school should be a mile before we enter the town, at least we'll get some walking exercise done from Monday to Friday," he chuckled smiling at him as they made their way down the road, keeping to the path side. "I wonder if you'll be able to choose what classes you would like to do at this school, that would be good huh?" he smiled.

Mike looked at Raphael while walking beside him,
"a mile? Man I have to do exercise while going to and from school? Hey if I can, then it'll be more easy to settle in to the place, I know I'll be picking art class for sure" he chuckled. Mike had always shown an interest in art, even from an early age he was always found drawing or painting something, whether it was an old bucket to a squirrel collecting nuts for the upcoming winter. He was never seen without some paper and coloured pencils wherever he would be going, even when out eating at a restaurant with Raphael, he would happily be seated colouring and drawing while Raphael spoke with others.

Soon the building came into sight, they had arrived at the school, the outside looked rather impressive, not a single mark or graffit on the walls, every inch looked to be cleaned almost every week. Upon entering the school grounds, to their surprise, it was all grass, not a single concrete floor anywhere, the grass even went up to the entrance steps.
"Well this is new, I have never come across a school ground to be only grass before, it's always has been concrete or slate type flooring," Raphael said glancing around before making their way to the entrance door, allowing Mike to enter first, "let's see if we can find the principals office huh?" he chuckled, keeping Mike close, in case he decided to go exploring and possibly getting himself lost.

As they made their way down the hallway, searching for the principals office, one of the classroom doors opened, revealing a tall and slim turtle, he looked to be 6ft 3inches, his slim appearence looked due to possibly a diet of only vegetables, fruits and possibly candy, as to who does not like candy now and then? The eyes were rather mesmerising to look at, a rather acute colour being a bright blue green mix, a central heterochromia eye condtion. It was a rather rare condtion where two colours are in the same iris, to which he had a double central heterochromia, thus being two colours were in both iris's.Clothing he wore seemed to be of a different era, looking to be of the medieval nobility clothing, neck high buttoned up black shirt, black button laced waist coat, along with a almost to the ankle blackish grey coat that seemed to be graced with a lace, however it was not the type to be used to close the coat. Black as the night trousers, along with knee high loose leather boots, also black.
"Um...may I assist you with anything sirs?"

Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, Raphael smiled, "yes, I'm trying to find the principals office to enroll my son Mike for this school, Mr..?" he replied as he glanced down at Mike, who had now slowly moved himself behind Raphael slightly.

Ozul smiled at him,
"Ozul sir, ah that may be a problem, he's never here on Friday's, but I am always left in charge on those days, I see no problem in enrolling your son here, if it's convienient for you, Monday morning he can start," he smiled at him.

"Monday morning is perfect, thank you, I am Raphael," he replied smiling at him and looked down at Mike, "what you say? Monday morning to make friends and get used to a new school?" Raphael chuckled.

Mike glanced at Ozul's attire, slowly from head to foot and vice versa,
"why are you dressed sorta weird and funny? Um.. no offence."

Chuckling as he gazed at himself, "being a history teacher, I like to dress the part I'm teaching about, my closet is full of other weird and funny clothes, this and next week I'm teaching about medieval nobility, expect more weird clothing on my classess," Ozul replied, giving a smile at Mike as one of his eyes turned a shade or red within the iris, leaving Mike to silently gasp.

"Daddy I kinda want to check out the town or village, whatever it is," he said in haste, tugging on Raphael's arm, in hopes he would take the motion as excitment and not a panic.

Raphael moved his arm away from getting tugged,
"easy Mike, we'll go in a minute," he replied with a hint of sterness in his tone for Mike to be patient, smiling as he turned his attention back to Ozul, "it was a pleasure meeting you Mr. Ozul, I believe Mike will be seeing and getting used to your clothing as the days go on in your classes" he smiled shaking Ozul's hand, ignoring the fact his hand was rather cold, not the type of cold that has been left to the exposure of a windy day, but the type of coldness you would get from a corpse. However, choosing to ignore it, he and Mike left the building and proceeded their way to the town.

Glancing back towards the school, Mike could have sworn he saw his silhouette transform to that of a type of animal, a flying one at that, quickly returning his attention to Raphael,
"daddy daddy! That guy's a vampire! I'm sure of it! One of his eyes I saw a red change to it and just now when I looked, I saw his shadow turning into an animal! With wings!!...Holy shell it was a bat!" Mike exclaimed in slight panic, giving Raphael's arm a few tugs.

Pulling his arm away from Mike's hands, giving an annoyed grunt,
"alright that's enough! I am tired of these accusations you have of certain people you meet! I have had my fill of it, you will not watch any horror movies until I say you can! Am I clear?!" He replied in a high stern tone of voice, clearly showing his level of annoyance to the subject of Mike's imaginative accusations from the fictionous movies he had seen.

Mike took a sudden step back to Raphael's sterness tone as he gave a slow nod,
"but I did see.." Wisely stopping himself to the sharp and strict look in Raphael's eyes towards him, "um..maybe it was the way the light was and he could've just walked back to the class, and my imagination took a wild side..um maybe we should just get to town and forget I said anything crazy" Mike added as he quickly took to walking onwards.

Raphael shook his head as a gesture to having been done with Mike's overactive imagination for the day, while proceeding to follow beside the teen, until venturing in to town. Somehow it looked slightly deserted, perhaps it was due to most of the teens and children being in that school, while the parents and other adults were busy working their jobs and errands, some perhaps even on vaccation elsewhere. It would have been explanitory to why most of the stores were closed, however, quite a few looked to be deserted, and not recently either. To say the least, the ones that looked to be deserted seemed to have a great amount of dust and cobwebs, almost having been boarded up from the inside, it was rather puzzling to why. None seemed to question the matter and none looked to be concerned either, although there were not many people about in town, from the look of it, only Raphael and Mike seemed to be the only ones in the town.

A short visit to the town they took before deciding to return when it was more lively, at this moment, even Raphael was having the feeling of uneasiness to the outlook. Taking their leave, they returned to their new home, Raphael having unlocked the door, the entered. Soon it was time to feast on dinner, for the moment, Raphael had ordered a take away from a nearby pizza restaurant, it took no less than thirty minutes before their meal had arrived. Receiving an unusual look from the delievery teen or the location and possibly the fact that someone was actually living in this house took him by surprise, no sooner as he was paid, he did not waste time in leaving, not looking back when informed he was to receive a tip either. It did seem rather odd to Raphael, but he shrugged it off as the teen didn't like to accept tips.

Surprisingly one pizza box still held six pieces, although knowing by morning, the box would be empty, curtesy of Mike having a midnight snack no doubt. Shorty the bright sky turned to night, it was that time when both Raphael and Mike to turn in to their rooms to sleep for the work of re-painting the whole of the inside walls once the paint delivery would arrive. But until then, the comfort of a new bed was heavenly to sleep upon.

The chimming of the clock, announcing it was midnight, the chimes echoeing through the household until the final chime, all fell silent. No sooner than five minutes had passed, Mike was venturing down the stairs, no doubt for the remainig pizza slices, carefully switching the switch he noticed the wiring may need doing from the way the light was flickering, in a matter of seconds the light settled to remain on, but as soon as Mike cast his eyes over towards the kitchen, a dark figure stood in the doorway, in some places the dark figure looked to have possibly either spikes or some type of sharp object coming from the shoulder areas, the head and what looked to be a type of turtle shell in the back harboring a few of those spiked object.

Unable to move from fear, Mike could do nothing but stare at the figure who seemingly only stood there, possibly looking at Mike, he couldn't tell if the figure was facing him or having his back to him, he hoped the figure was not facing him. Wanting to scream, run, anything to be away from this scene before him, but he had no control over anything of his body he was wanting to do, but just stare in a fear stricken state. It seemed hours before hearing Raphael's footsteps decending down the staircase in search for his water bottle that came with his earlier pizza order, no sooner as Raphael began nearing, the dark figure faded before Mike's eyes, leaving him to stare into the kitchen like a deer in headlights.

"Mike? Mike!" Raphael said seeing the teen just standing there like a type of statue, sighing, taking it as a type of attitude or gesture for having his horror movie privilages taken from him, he was not in the mood to deal with any of that type attitude this late at night. Drawing his hand back he gave a swift tap to Mike's backside, only to receive a reaction he was not expecting.

Upon receiving the tap, Mike was highly shaken from his suspended state of motionless to a screaming mess falling to the floor, a reaction to that of someone who had just been stabbed and shot repeatedly to the point of the body hitting the floor in a dead state, however Mike was not in that dead state, and so the screaming continued momentarily until his brain came to recognise Raphael, thus having the screaming to stop, but the look of terror having never leaving Mike's face to what he had just seen.
