"Fun" short for "Function" was a nickname she was given when she was enslaved. For obvious reasons don't call her that.

30s though she's very fragile so appears younger in her behavior
Character Description
Bea is actually a safling, a creature constructed entirely out of saf. Saf is a gummy white material that contains a person's memory and personality. It's normally just the brain part of a soul and cannot interact with the world other than controlling the body the soul possesses.
However in Bea's case her entire body is made out of it and works just like a body in the material plane. Not only does that put her memories and personality at risk of being damaged if she gets a physical injury but it means her entire body runs on Saf Control.
Saf Control is the ability to control a saf. In other words, to read and write memories and, in a similar fashion, read and write a person's own personality. It also means that it can be removed from a person and put back in. Safless people are normally comatose but some individuals can sleepwalk similar to a baby first learning how to move.
Unfortunately since her body is material and not etherial she isn't a ghost and can't possess people or phase through things. Her dilated eyes are a product of her receiving injuries to her body as injuries to any part of her body can affect her mental functionality resulting in personality disorder and memory loss as well.
Personality
very shy and quiet she likes being near friends who can do the talking for her.
she just wants everyone to be friends and gets scared when people shout.
she's very practically minded and can work hard and likes things to be clean and tidy.
she also likes pretty girly things like flowers and dresses.
she likes being around friends but likes just to be part of the group rather than be heard.
at first she was afraid of Sammu because he can be violent especially as she's scared of fighting but she clings to him to protect her also.

Background/History
Bea was born into human trafficking as her parents were already captives. She was separated from her parents at an early age but managed to stay close to her siblings and fellow captives.
One person who became involved in the slave trade was a man called Louis Scott. Bea remembers him because he was nice to her and the others. He secretly worked to catch the slave traders from the inside using anonymous tip-offs to the police though this was unknown to Bea at the time.
Unbeknown to Bea, before the police raid Sammu had also been investigating into the slave trade and planned to use his wealth, power and influence to shut the trade down softly before the police intervened so that he could catch them all at once. Unfortunately Louis'es meddling prevented it from happening and some crooks escaped with their cargo.
When the police raided the human traffickers Bea was a free woman but having known nothing but captivity she needed rehabilitation. Sammu had previously seen Bea in captivity without her knowledge and recognized the signs of her being an anthropomorph in disguise. So he managed to manipulate events so that Bea would be in his care as a rehabilitation officer.
Later, Sammu met Mimi when she applied for a job at the club he co-owns with Phil, The Lounge. He hadn't seen her before but Bea recognized her. Mimi wasn't rescued by the officers in the raid so the fact she was roaming free was curious. It seems Mimi was able to make her escape on her own and informed the authorities rescuing a small group more of the captives.
Unknown to everyone Louis went on to rescue more captives before he was discovered by the criminal organization and had to go into hiding. That's because he escaped with the rest of the criminals involved at the time.
Sammu by comparison was unable to free any more people after the police raid meant the trail went cold. However he was able to follow other avenues that opened up due to his involvement to stop similar organizations. All the while working beneath the police radar.
Through one of Sammu's contacts he found when researching the slave traders Louis managed to use a branch of Sammu's business to help him go into hiding. However Louis'es curiosity as to Sammu's involvement in the slave trade lead him to Sammu's home town.
Louis and his wife Tina, a former slave herself, are living close to John's Apartments. However they are unaware of what they are living close to and the fact that Bea lives there.
Similarly Sammu and Bea are unaware of Louis being nearby and what he's been doing all this time. As is Louis clueless about all the other slave traders Sammu has shut down.
Relatives/Family
Bea's family are a mystery. She was brought up in captivity and was taken away from her parents when she was still young. She has only hazy memories of them and after being rescued she tried to track them down but to no avail.
She grew up alongside her siblings and other captives and still keeps in touch with them following her rescue. The people of John's Apartments are also like family to her and she's rather close to Sammu in particular as he's her rehabilitation officer.
World/Setting
To all intense purposes the main canon Bea belongs to is almost a carbon copy of the real world. For that reason Bea often takes human form in public but around John's apartments where everyone is her friend and knows her secret she can be found in rabbit form. Similarly when in the club she frequents she may take rabbit form as long as only her and the fellow members of John's apartments are present, which is often the case.
Bea can also appear in other canons by using the teleporting door of The HORS Hotel to hop dimensions, in which case the laws of that world apply, apart from anything that changes the Beatrix persona into something it's not.
In these kinds of settings it might be normal for anthropomorphic animals to exist so Bea will take the form of a rabbit if that's the case.
It's important to remember that Beatrix wont suddenly develop forward vision or digitigrade legs if you want. She is who she is and you gotta just live with that.
