A few times I've had comments from people stating they believe that Shadow would dote on Amy during her pregnancy. Frankly....I agree. The most important thing in the universe to Shadow was the family he once had, ie Maria. So once he discovers he is to be a Father, he would do everything to protect Mother and the lives growing inside her. But more...I think it would soften him.
At this point, they know they have twins on the way, but they believe they are either Shadows OR Sonics. However, it was agreed it would not matter who provided the biological data, they would all raise the hoglets as their own.
