Chapter 5
Later after the cave got calm and lifeless. Sonic layed down on the carpet unconscious as Chip tried to wake Sonic.
"Sonic? Sonic? Wake up!" said Chip as he shook Sonic carefully until he woke up and rubbed his head.
"Oh, my head!" Sonic groaned as the three looked up to the entrance was sealed.
"We're trapped!" said Chip.
"Yeah! That double crossing old codger!" Sonic said feeling angry at the old man and then he looked down sadly. "Whoever he was, he's long gone with that lamp."
"I don't think so!" Chip smirked as he showed the lamp to Sonic.
"Chip, you sneaky little thief!" Sonic smiled as Chip gave him the lamp.
"I wonder why did that old coot want that lamp." Chip said cluelessly.
"I have no idea. What's so special about that piece of junk?" Sonic wondered. "But this lamp is kinda dusty."
He was dusted off the dust by rubbing the lamp. Suddenly a huge smoke came out of the lamp and then, a fox genie appeared from it. Sonic and Chip were amazed to see a genie.
"Finally, someone woke me up. I must have slept for ten thousand years." the fox genie yawned and then he turned around to see Sonic, Chip and the carpet. "Hi, master. My name is Miles Prower but you can call me Tails. What's your name?"
"Sonic the Hedgehog." Sonic replied.
"That's a cool name, Sonic!" Tails smiled. "So, what are you wishing for, master?"
"Wait a minute? I'm your master?" Sonic asked.
"That's right! The genie of the lamp who grants three wishes, master!" Tails replied.
"Three wishes?" The blue Hedgehog asked.
"Why, yes! Three wishes to be exact! And no ix-nay on the wishing for more wishes! And there are also three rules." Tails said.
"Like?"
"Rule number one: I can't kill anybody. Rule number two: I can't make anyone fall in love with anyone else. And rule number 3: I can't bring people back from the dead. Besides that, you can wish whatever you want!" Tails said.
Sonic had a hard decision to come up his first wish but then, he had an idea and whispered to Chip. Both smiled at each other.
"Some all powerful Genie he is, Chip." He smirked.
"Yeah. He can't even bring back from the dead." Chip nodded.
Tails got really upset and felt insulted.
"Well, I guess he can't even help us out of here." Sonic shrugged.
"Excuse me, blue boy!" said Tails very sternly. "Are you looking at me? Did you rub my lamp? Did you wake me up and bring me here? And now, you're walking out on me? I think not! You're going to have three wishes, SO SIT DOWN!"
Sonic and Chip sat on the carpet and Tails went along with them.
"Get ready! Keep your hands and arms inside the carpet because we're out of here" said Tails as they flew out of the sand.
The next morning in the throne room.
"Wakim, this is an outrage! If it weren't for all your years of loyal service. From now on, you are to discuss sentencing the prisoners with me before they are beheaded." said Robert sternly.
"I assure you, your majesty! It won't happen again." said Wakim.
"Amy and Wakim. Let's put this whole messy behind us." said Robert softly.
"My most adject and humblest apologies to you as well, Princess Amy!" said Wakim.
"Well, at least some good will come of my being forced to marry. When I am queen, I will have the power to get rid of you!" Amy said angrily and unforgiving.
"We shall see." Wakim smiled.
"That's all settled then." Robert smiled.
When Wakim walked through the hallways, he frowned and got very angry about falling to get the magic lamp. And then, he smiled again because he had another evil idea.
