You follow Feather's directions, getting closer to the residential streets.
"Perky's a sweet colt, I'm glad we got to hang out with him a bit. Real cutie too, dontcha think?" You smirk and shake Feather teasingly as he rests on your back.
"I-I guess? I don't really think colts are cute..." Feather shivers slightly against you.
"Ah. So big, strong stallions are more your thing? Is that why you wanted to hang out with me?"
"No! You just like my pictures is all.", Feather throws back as he still anxiously shivers.
You chuckle softly at his assertion, which was technically true. "Hmhm, we sure do have a similar interest there. Betcha got a picture of Perky in your album too, though."
Feather doesn't respond, still shivering softly, so you speak up again. "Relax Feath, I'm just teasing a bit. I'd never judge you for anything, you're safe with me no matter what or who you like."
Feather sighs and seems to calm his nerves. "Th-thanks, Muds." You walk silently for a few moments before he pipes back up. "My dad says stallions are usually called handsome, so I guess that's what you are, right?"
"Well, that's all up to who's saying it to decide. Do you think I am?"
"...I-I...yeah." Feather lays his head down on the back of your neck.
"That means a lot to me, Feath. Thank you."
You feel him nuzzle his face against you and he smiles wide.

Your mind shifts a different direction, back to the tripod gift. "Say Feather, where do you get stuff for your camera? Just curious."
"The electronics store is where Namby bought me my camera and the strap I wear it on. No where else sells that kinda stuff here, but she told me about all sorts of cool places in Fillydelphia! OH, stop here. I uh...I don't want my dad to see you."
You stop and Feather takes off from your back. You sit patiently for a few minutes before the little colt eventually returns with a small cardboard box. He sits back down on your back as he clutches the item close to him. "O-ok, I'm ready."
Time to head to your house with the precious cargo on your back.
