You keep your hoof on Feather's back to reassure him. "Yup, the both of you look absolutely adorable!" You place your other hoof around Perky, being sure to include him in the attention as well. You lift your sandwich with your magic and eat along with Feather, who digs into his fries.
Perky takes a few sips of his smoothie before speaking. "Mom's friends say that, too." He takes another sip and his expression changes. "I know it's because they think I'm girly and that it's funny...I...do you think I'm girly?"
"Well uh...I think we'd need to hang out a little more before deciding that, but I didn't call you adorable because you're girly. Feather isn't, and I called him adorable too." You turn to Feather. "That's just cus he looks so huggable!" You give Feather a little side-hug and feel an excited shiver shoot up his back.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense!", Perky exclaims as he scoots himself close enough that his thigh touches your own.
The three of you go silent as you all eat. You bring up the race as a conversation topic and the three of you talk and joke for a good few minutes, being sure to flirt with the two here and there. Nothing too risky, just light doting and compliments. Eventually, the three of you finish your snacks.
You should probably get going with Feather, but the back of your mind is nagging to bring Perky along with you two. Perky and Feather talk as you think....but you really can't make up your mind.
You relinquish control of Mudslide and let him decide on his own.

Perky has been nothing but receptive to him, and seems more and more interested as time passes. Neither Mudslide nor you know just how much the little colt knows of other...things, though. Muds could definitely rope him along and try, but Featherweight is also in the equation. Feather is very meek and nervous, he'd definitely be shy in a threeway situation. Mudslide could probably work him up to the idea, but he hasn't even worked into a one-on-one (even though Feather seems to want to). Plus the colt seemed a little nervous at being detoured by the snacks and is already anxious to be alone with you.
Muds decides that including Perky right now would definitely overwhelm Featherweight and likely lead to losing his interest.

You wait until a pause in the conversation to talk again. "Well boys, me and Feather got somewhere to go. Ought to pick up our trash and head out now. You should stop by my bar or my house sometime, Perky. I bet I could make you a waaaay better smoothie."
The colt's eyes light up. "REALLY?"
"Heheh...of course I can, it's my job. I make all kinds of ice creams and shakes and smoothies. Just drop by sometime."
"I will! Do you have a WhinnyPic so I can tell you when?"
You smirk and whip out your phone. You and Perky trade contact details, and you think to jot down the idea of buying Feather a tripod as a gift while you have your phone out. You stand up and stretch your legs, putting away your phone and scooping up the trash with your magic. "Text me whenever you're cheering at an event again, too. I'd love to drop by and say hi...or just anytime you're bored and need a buddy to hang out with."
"I will, Muds! Thanks for the smoothie!" He jumps up alongside you, almost relunctant to leave. You give his mane a ruffle and bend down to give a gentle hug. Perky blushes as he says bye and the three of you part.
