1. Bellflower Bunnies

Decided to draw Romeo for this dumpling, mostly because he isn't from the main cast. :3

'The Bellflower Bunnies' isn't a series I'm too familiar with, as I've seen only a few episodes (that were dubbed into English). A friend mailed me a DVD copy of the carnival episode, which I still intend to review ...as I've intended since 2015! :D

...yes, I'm terrible ^^

2. Maya the Bee

The titular character is shown here, more or less (wings are hard lol).

Anyway, I used to watch this anime on Nickelodeon, but there seems to be two different English dubs of this series (Uk and USA, respectively). I discovered the UK version via YT---I'm unsure whether the episodes are the same as those dubbed into American English, but it would be superfluous if they were. :P

Maya was rebooted somewhat recently ...in CGI, of course. I haven't managed to sit through an episode ...and I'm not wanting to try again. :P

3. Noozles

...This series was dark! Very, very dumb, mind you, yet ...dark! XD

Anyway, this drawing is of a random officer of Koalawallaland. He's cute, sure ...and will entrap your soul in a crystal for all eternity if he catches you being human ...*I'm a fluffy foxy. Murr! =^..^=

*pointless Yerf reference ^^;

4. The World of David the Gnome

I have chosen here to draw the gnome queen (thought I was going to draw Swift, didn't you?) ;)

...I really liked this series. Sure, it was slow paced and preachy at times (even a tad creepy now and then), but the series made up for that by being genuinely unique. The show took itself (ie, its characters and world) seriously---the episodes had (at times) the feel of a documentary!

TWoDtG was not my favorite series, but there was no other like it (that is certain).

5. The Littl' Bits

I decided to draw Lillibit for this. 'The Littl' Bits' was a cute series---it had a story arc (which centered on the whereabouts of Lilli's parents) albeit I'm unsure whether the episodes had any real order to them (each seemed very self-contained and contributed little or nothing to to the overarching 'plot').

Going purely by memory, I want to say the 'Wanderbits' episode resolved the issue of what happened to Lilli's parents, but I not too sure (it's been 20-some years, and the series isn't something I've revisited to any appreciable extent on YT).

...And I know 'someone' will bring this up, so... Yes: I've seen 'Return to the Sea'.
Also, mewonders whether the bits are in any way related to gnomes. 00

6. Adventures of the Little Koala

I've reviewed two episodes from this series already, as well (by now) have drawn almost every member of the main cast ...save for the Kangaroo Brothers three: Walter, Horsie and Colt

Honestly, the kangaroos look more like dingos to me, yet they are 'roos indeed, as the 'pouches' on their overalls intend to convey.

Colt is the youngest of the brothers, but is equally mean as Walter (the eldest). Yeah, the trio were the series's antagonists, albeit the series was fickle in this regard.

7 Gene and ...Sylveon?

Cuddling: it's super effective! The Eevee girl has evolved into a Sylveon ...and has Gene exactly where she wants him!
She's a big girl, and she likes boys, so... I'd say Gene's in trouble, but he also brought this on himself (so he's on his own here). <3

yeah when he woke up to being tickled, the way the koala's voice sounded and I mean the second time around when he pointed out to sandy he was tickling him, I would of kept tickling him till I managed to get him and his sister tied down then wave some feathers at them then the hours of fun would begin. And also when he passed out, I would just rub noses with him and the torture would continue. ^^

Wonderful sketches!  Thanks for the nostalgia.  My favorite of the old anime Nick Jr. stuff is the Little Koala.  There's virtually nothing about that show that I dislike.

And yes, IIRC, the story arch of Lillabit's parents is resolved in the Wanderbits episode; and the entire story involving Dr. Snoozabit is resolved in the following, series finale episode.  And as someone who watched these dubbed animes frequently on Nickelodeon, even though I wasn't child even back then, the constant talk of the "Return to the Sea" episode whenever people discuss The Littl' Bits gets annoying to me.  Put frankly, because of how the children interacted with their environment, not having brought appropriate swim-wear, this episode could never be produced today.  But back then it didn't matter, because everyone understood that these were pixie-like gnomes, and not human children.

My favorite episodes were ones involving the kids helping forest animals, mainly the raccoon ep, and the Scarybit ep.  My favorite character - Snuffly.

I liked The Noozles equally, mainly because of the weird, dark storyline.  And because I like Pinky.

Nick was a big part of early-90's life for me. :3

Are these all old cartoon shows? And Yerf? That art gallery which went belly up because the hdd went bad and the admin f*cked up with his backups?
IceAgeChippies

The same! D:

I used to troll on that site; even argured with Dingo a few times (he's the admin you mentioned). :3

You know, I remember mentioning I got tired of people complaining after the site went belly up. I didn't mean to troll atm but I think a few people disagreed. Same when I said vb6 was obsolete on a developer forum... Me ramble? Never!

You went trolling? Bad boy! *spanks IceAgeChippies*. While I liked some of the art there (pssst, I edited a lot of it to create a secret porn stash for myself) they were a bunch of uptight pricks. Quality control and standards are nice and all, but they did exclude a lot of potential artists there. Although truth be told in their defense, 90's server hardware was crap compared to what is available to today. The excuse they had to save on bandwidth and disk space could be made in their defense. Oh well, at least there was Cub Central. They had some halfway decent port over there... Although this site is faaar better! *Looks up some porn and gets a huge boner*.

You know I visited Yerf a lot. Did you troll on the forums? What username and year? And how did you piss em off? I need a good laugh.

My favorite account name was either SandyYerf or SandyFox---I can't remamber.
I also went by MartenFerret and WhiteWolfTree. Early 2000's.

The early 2000’s? Those names don’t ring a bell, I guess I was too busy turning their art into porn using a ripped off editor. Did any bite or were you chucked out before the fun really started?

You may not believe me, but I have a good chunk of my Yerf forum posts and interactions printed on paper (I never throw anything out). ^^

That must have cost a shitload of ink and paper... Lemme guess, you still lived with your parents and mooched on their supplies didn't ya? Reminds me of the days I used to waste paper printing all sorts of crap on my dad's dot matrix printer... LOL

Teehee! I don't recall specifics, but I was there when it went down. I (should) still have my AOL chat with Dingo on the matter, but I wouldn't share it if discovered.

Why would you chat with Dingo about nicking stuff? Btw, wasn't Dingo usually stoned out of his mind? I believe he was on meds for something. Bi-polar?

I like the idea of placing certain characters (whether mine or another's) in particular/specific scenarios/concepts, but it's usually the scenarios/concepts themselves that get my interest. :3
FoxyIbLover
4 years, 1 month ago
Yeah, when one gets bored of staring at body parts a few spicy situations will lighten things up.
IceAgeChippies
4 years, 1 month ago
Indeed. :3

I like the concept of 'teasing'---scenarios that could get very hot, but never quite get there. The raccoon-dog has this going on, and so is my present 'fun' interest.
Kinda opposite to Gene in that the raccoon-dog wants female attention, but only receives it in a 'we're secretly making fun of you' kinda way (so they don't actually 'do' anything to him, though they give the impression that they want to).
FoxyIbLover

Teasing and a few naughty situations are fine, but things shouldn't go too far. I like some good cubby porn but there is a limit to  what I like.
IceAgeChippies
4 years, 1 month ago
That's why I made it clear the older foxes wouldn't hurt the cub. :3
