I decided that it was time to do what I'd tried to do before: make Carrie look really strong and badass. Many people said before that this new style looks very 80s Manga-esque, so I decided to lean into that, and I have to say, it works. Much, much happier with this pass.
I think this one works better than the older one. In the old, it looks more like an inconvenience or surprise. Whereas here, the pose and face make it look like she under more of a strain. That it's taking effort to hold up however much is above her.
