What is it that we seek in our lives to make it feel like our existence is paying off in the long run? Is it wealth, popularity, advances in any given industry and innovation? Is it a uniquely human desire to leave our mark on history? Whatever it is, it's a well known feeling when one doesn't reach those heights they feel obliged to reach. It's a feeling of being stuck. A feeling of getting nowhere.
I like to think of it a bit differently. I like to think of it as being lost in deep space. Just like how we are down here on earth, even if we're stuck, we're still on a planet moving constantly through space. Every moment you feel like you're not getting anywhere, every second, you're covering 30 km of cosmic distance
We're all floating. Nobody knows where. But one should always take some time to just relax and.. take in the view. We're all traveling at the same pace, after all.
