There's been one thing on my mind recently. Whenever I've been feeling troubled by something, stressed out, saddened, or just feel like I need to clear my head, I grab my keys and head down to my Ford. I rev up the engine and get it running nice and warm before heading to the street. Where am I going? I don't really know.. I guess that in the end, I'm just going home. I just start from home, I end up at home, just a really long and winded, improvised detour. But this helps me focus. Helps me think a bit more over things. See them more clearly. And just the feeling of the music booming in my speakers, the hum of the engine, the lights of the road washing over my dashboard as I drive through the night.. it's almost addictive.
I wanted to capture this feeling. Define it. Weave it into sound. I do believe I've succeeded.
Note: Jack Wreighter is a new alias I'm using for everything Synthwave related. It's a persona I'm wanting to expand a bit on if I ever get the chance. Enjoy!
