Leon sighed and stared at Coco. She had been asleep for three hours since her surgery. If they had arrived a few minutes later, he stomach acid would have leaked and eaten at ehr insides. Scooter sat ont eh other side of the bed, running his fingers up and down Coco's arm like eh did when she took a nap. Leon watched them for a while. Her heart moniter beeped, and the IV dripped. She hadn't changed... Slowly, he got up and ambled out the door. Maxxi came up behind him.
:She okay?" He asked/
"Yeah, she's fine...she hasn't changed since she was put in the room." Leon said, pressing the button for teh lift. Maxxi stepped in with him..
"Listen, I know how you must fee-"
"Don't...just don't." You have no idea how I feel!" Leon growled, pressing the ground floor button. Maxxi sighed and leaned against the metal wall.
"Yes, I do. You care for her alot, Leon. We all do." Maxxi said.
"It's not that. It's the fact I...I let this happen..." Leon said as the floors pinged away.
"Look, I've been thinking. I promised Coco I'd take ehr to Autralia a few months back...and when she gets better. I want to take her to there for a few weeks." Maxxi said. Leon didn't look at him. "She needs to get theses things off her mind-"
"No, everytime something like this happens we try and make ehr forget."
"You want ehr to remember all these things?" Maxxi accused.
"OF course not." The doors slid open. "But of she represses these things, then it'll be harder for her." He said walking out. Maxxi sighed and pressed the 12th floor button. When he got there, it seemd to be in a rush.
"Scooter? What's up, mate?" He asked his friend walking to him. Scooter looked at him, holding back tears. "Scooter?"
"Coco....flatlined..." Maxxi's breathing stopped. "The doctors said that some stomach acid leaked out...and it's eating at her heart..."

A small chapter, the other first drafts were longer and better, but I don't want to take my chances!
