Well that's the truth right there... Unfortunately, the world's full of the guillable and ignorant; people who judge by the cover... and people who'll just see a familiar face and pick it up no matter what.
I know what you're thinking, fellow Sonic-fan: "What about Rise of Lyric? That game hardly sold at all!" Well not only was that game so blatantly terrible and boring that it became a refund roadie, but it was also sold on an underperforming console, all of which culminated into the worst-selling and just overall worst Sonic-game of all time, which is no small feat. Even 06 managed to sell well despite its many flaws because there was still something unintentionally fun within the innumerable flaws, and probably because it was so bad that people had to see it for themselves. (I know that's why I bought it...) It became an instant meme in a time when internet culture was starting to blossom, meaning that despite being absolute garbage it was still memorable. RoL had none of that impact or hilarious charm, it was just a bad, boring game without any redeemable qualities... save for the jump glitch which was later patched out, BECAUSE THAT'S THE WORST FLAW OF THAT GAME!! >_>
