      Ah, welcome to my humble mansion, it is unusual to have guests in my shadow realm, let alone those with...tastes...such as mine.  Heheheh...you might say I am a sadistic bastard, and that is fitting for one of demonic nature, but there are fates worse than death for my enemies, as you shall see; so, be glad you are not among them.  Indeed, through these great oak doors are many pets of mine, unfortunate creatures that once foiled my plans to remake all of reality as I would have wished it, much as I can in this pocket dimension of mine.  Bah!  But I shall show you the fate of those that would defy me in the name of their own foolish heroism.

    Ah ha, yes, and here in my entry hall is the first, and perhaps the most significant of my pets- at least, in his world!  But here he is naught but my chandelier and, yes, a most amusing toy.  Behold the blue blur now stilled, and ignore his annoying prattle for assistance.  I hardly hear such prattle anymore, myself, and why should I bother when he makes so many other delightful sounds?  He has not had the privilege of running since his capture, let alone allowed to walk, and perhaps that is the most cruel punishment of all for a creature once as free as and faster than the wind, now cocooned in a latex sleeve and sturdy straps.

      Wonderful materials, those mortals create.  Go on, his soles are surprisingly sensitive- smack them with my crop, yes, go ahead, the arch of the sole is most sensitive...yes, as hard as you wish, HA!  Yes!  There, see how he yelps!  And such language for a hero; he should know by now I shan’t release him.  He deserves punishment for such insolence, no?  Nay, not the crop, I have something even more amusing in mind.  Here, take this feather and join me.  Haha, yes!  How he wriggles and sways, like a worm on the line, unable to avoid the fate he so deserves!  The irony that now, in such dire straits, he must struggle not to laugh!  It would not be the first time I’ve gotten him to beg for this playtime of mine to wrap up, but come further in, there is so much yet to do and see, and our evening has only begun.
