One day The Boss was taking care of little Ikkey and he was totally bored! Then The Boss came up with a great idea! He decided to take Ikkey to a base ball game, and not only that ...that day , those who were playing there were his favorite team...The London Mets(From UK)!
And from what we're seeing, Ikkey's favorite team had won the game! And Ikkey was never tired of saying all day:"They won! They won!"
I dont know why but this pic brings back some fond memories of my grandfather.
While I never went to a game with him (but he worked as a ballthrower in his past time for the local club in the village he lived in) some of my earliest memories with him were watching football (or soccer how some people call it) with him.
When I was little (so around Kindergarten age ) we would often visit him at the weekends and well often this would also collide with his favourite team, the 1 FC Kaiserlautern, playing and so we would often sit in his living room and watch the game. And if they won my grandfather would ALWAYS, no matter what weather it was, go outside and rise the teams flag at the flagpole in his garden. So even if we arrived when they allready played we would always know if they won or not. Because if they won the flag would proudly fly over his house.
And again. dont know why this picture reminds me of that or why it lets me ramble about it. But hey they are some very fond memories to share.
