This is how the art process goes between my partner and I. Though it is not very different from how other artists do it.
1. I sketch out the comic page. I write the story text bubbles in.
2. Parter flat colors.
3. I shade.
4. Partner cleans up after me, helps with colors, adds text and text bubbles.
This is how I can get pages done on my current schedule. Alone, it is too much time.

Very cool look behind the scenes once again! That's also really sweet that these comics are something you and your partner can share and create together, assuming you mean "partner" in the romantic sense. If not then it's still awesome that you've got a friend who shares your vision and enthusiasm for bringing these stories to life.=) And oh, hey, Happy New Year!
