Seasonal sentiments from this year's holiday card.

I was clobbered from the inside-out by intestinal pain for most of last week, and my efforts were further complicated by lack of ink for my printer, so my card is late this year. Still, at least it's ready to be printed once I hit Walmart tomorrow morning, assuming I can catch the right bus.

Yes, but... $6.50 for an overnight delivery?!? I knew it would be late, which you explained above, so it was not as if you needed to rush it any more than the normal 3-day delivery would've been, to get here before the week was out! :)

Otherwise, I do appreciate these cards, and the puns... ;)

That was mainly in response to the other two I sent out, these to relatives. The idea was to say that you all were important enough that I wanted to get your cards to you as quickly as possible or something to that effect. (Plus, Priority Mail is two- to three-day mail.) And I just really, really wanted the cards out of my hair. Foolish? Most likely, but I've never claimed to be otherwise.
