A biologically enhanced and technologically well-equipped snake-like reptile in the role of a shock trooper.
His dual guns can also serve as powerful melee weapons, extending a short but effective cutting beam from the bottom of each gun, letting him attack like a huge serpent maw as he lunges at his enemies.
nice pose line, I assumed legs until I checked it later then realized it was a serpentine.
I'd actually like to see someone make a game mechanic of a snake (w/ arms and guns) sneak up on me and blast. might be fun~ though they would have to be the enemy until the plot twist...
what would a serpentine military load out look like?

Thanks! I've also thought a bit about the advantages to a serpentine body for combat, and true, stealthiness is a good point because of the constant low noise instead of characteristic footsteps. Another advantage is the body being very flexible allows them to move smoothly in any direction and probably easily in rough/sloped terrain too.
Regarding weapons, I think they could use any hand-held weapon that humanoids could, but they would have advantage in melee combat because their bodies allowing for quick lunging attacks, thus they have in interest to have some modern melee weaponry also on the ready. An important factor to consider in this is: in my setting, personal armor and shields (and often, biologically augmented, tough bodies) are very advanced in defensive capability, and often the best way to deal with them is melee weapons that can unload large amounts of energy directly from the power supply of the user onto/into the target, allowing to deal a much higher burst of damaging energy than a carrying projectile of an infantry weapon could (assuming reusability is an important factor, as grenades and missiles are still quite effective, but of very limited uses).
Unfortunately it's not visible on this picture, but their armor is segmented, covering the dorsal side of the body with hard plating, while the ventral side is a soften material with smaller scales (visible on the pic too) to not hinder the serpentine movement.
