Christmas commission of Ray and Toto, mostly Ray, baking cookies outside as the christmas holidays draw near. This beautiful art piece was done by dreamtrove! Thank you very much for working on it!
Being reptiles, the two don't do terribly well in the cold, making the winter months tough, but very cozy between the two, as sitting together helps generate more heat(does that work for lizards?). Unfortunately Toto, alas, truly wanted to have some cookies. Unfortunately as said, going out in the cold isn't something reptiles typically care to do. But, being the ever loving mate and guardian of the young toddler, Ray took him out and started up the burner.
The gazebo and plants around them were lit up by rows of lights illuminated by the heliolisks own electricity. After a bit of cleaning to get any snow out the construction, with a small jolt of power against a batch of wood in the back of the stone oven, a crackling fire was made in the back. Luckily the two were able to make batter while inside the house (a trade secret in the world of pokemon~), so a that was left was to shape the cookies and put them in.
Taking each separate ball and molding them into shapes resembling pokemon reminiscent of the christmas season (deibird, trevenant and sceptile for instance), though doing so with claws made it particularly tough to do. Even still, with the cookies molded and in the oven, the two waited in the snow, doing the best the two reptiles could in keeping themselves active and warm(in whatever ways you want to believe~) until the cookies were presumed done.
Carefully taking them out of the fire, the few from the first batch were naturally, didn't quite resemble the shapes they were based on, but for Toto that didn't matter. In the end, cookies were made, the two had fun outside in the snow together by a warm fire and had a wonderful merry christmas!
As I hope that everyone here also has a wonderful time during the holidays, do your best to try and make it as good as possible, regardless of circumstance, even if it may seem hard to do at times. I want to thank dreamtrove once again for drawing such a wonderful scene for us, and I hope they and everyone else has Happy holidays!
