Thanks for Hozzie Hozzbourne (No gallery) for helping me out when the crap -literally- hit the fan. Seriously, we're not out of the woods yet, I'll probably have to open another batch of commissions to deal with this after I have these first 10 done. Anyway, it felt really good to get back to digital painting. I think the depth of field on the leaf really helps to tie the whole image together. This one was fun :3

Wow! This looks even better full size than it did last night, KJ. The leaf that everyone commented on looks fantastic here. It's out of focus giving the impression this is a photograph rather than a drawing. Most artists, including classic artists, never think about this aspect of art.
