Some confidence for the next round.

The pilot of the business jet next to Chucky would never actually fly that close to him in an airport traffic pattern(not without getting in a lot of trouble anyway). Like in a few previous pages I'm showing things closer for dramatic effect, and it's just fun to draw.

For the non-aviation folks, and short approach is a fast and tight descent to the runway. It's usually assigned to smaller, more maneuverable aircraft to expedite traffic flow. Chucky didn't have to accept it, but he did, so he's got one more challenge.

Awww...but ya I understand.
I do hope at some point we get to see it close up because from that quick drawing it LOOKS like it has over and under scoops for some kind of jet engine configuration? If so that's a very unique and awesome design!

Yes, scoop underneath for fuselage mounted engine in the back. Probably not the most practical design, but I like the way it looks.

I get the feeling Chucky has his finger on the PTT in the 4th panel. Maybe that's why Ian is crossing his arms? Just an evil thought. I shouldn't be so evil. :(
