Jax smiled the whole way back to work, Sasha chuckling to herself as she noticed the wolf had his tail wagging really quick as she drove. Jax was thinking about that wolf he had seen and couldn’t help but feel all happy and excited while they drove. He really hoped it wasn’t the only time he’d meet the wolf, he wanted to meet him again but he wasn’t sure if he would be able to. It was a bit upsetting but that didn’t ruin the mood. The tall brown husky that he had met was a man he wanted to be with and it was a true thing. But his lingering worry was still the thought that he might reject him just because he might find it weird that Jax was a babyfur essentially. His ears folded back at the thought, it was a bit stressful and dreadful to think of it. Sasha noticed and sighed softly as she pulled into her parking space. “Jax, you need to stop letting that get in the way of your romance, you’re acting like it’s the end of the world. If anything, these men and women should feel lucky to have a sweet puppy like yourself as a romance partner.” Sasha smiled, emphasizing puppy his to get Jax to blush and wag his tail more.

Jax sighed but smiled nonetheless as he slowly got out of the car. Sasha smiled and got out as well, but chuckled as she pat Jax on the backside. “And besides, I think someone might have already noticed anyways that you’re in one now, so being all worried about it Considering people would notice your butt is already a bit bigger than average.” She chuckled feeling that Jax was in fact wearing a diaper under his pants as the wolf blushed and just quickly walked back inside, he didn’t want to make it obvious and so the fact that she said that just embarrassed him more. It didn’t help that she mentioned his backsides size either because even without the diaper, Jax was known by some just for having a large Butt, which was inherit in his family. Jax just silently went back to his desk and plugged back in the phone and turned on the computer again, ready to start the second half of his shift. Sasha would check over occasionally and saw Jax answer the phone, but could easily tell that he was distracted. She was impressed how much that brown wolf had smitten the young husky, and she could only shake her head and smile as she watched, it was cute.

Jax checked the time and noticed it was almost around the time the school bell would ring and he nodded as he went to talk to his boss. “Uh, Sasha. It’s almost time for Simon to get out of school, would it be okay if I left a bit early to go get him?” He asked, a bit hopeful knowing that leaving early made it somewhat difficult for her, but he at least liked to ask and make sure it was okay. Sasha smiled as she grabbed her tablet and nodded with a gentle look as she stood. “Of course, go get the little cutie. I can handle the second half of the day myself, and besides, Max is gonna show up for his interview soon anyways so we will hopefully have someone else besides just us working here.” She said and smiled as she walked with Jax back to the front desk and setting herself up and nodding. At least this way she was able to handle customers, fix their stuff and make appointments with ease, which was always a great thing for her because of the simplicity of it. “And also, don’t worry about finding that wolf. A buddy of mine is gonna find out if he ever came to the salon, so rest easy hon, we will find him for you.

Jax giggled happily and smiled as he started walking out. “Thank you so much Sasha, I’ll see you tomorrow.” He said and quickly rushed out to his car. He might’ve missed dropping him off, but he was determined to make sure he at least picked up Simon from school. He tried really hard to be a good father and he would do anything just to make the boy happy. He smiled as he started his car and started driving. It didn’t take long for him to make it back to his apartment and park his car before quickly rushing over to school, some parents surprised to see Jax actually make it, they all knew he was a good parent but also knew he worked a busy schedule, so just seeing him ready to pick his son up in the first day was heartwarming to a lot of them. Jax panted softly as he stopped at the schools parking lot and waited, sitting down on the sidewalk and waited. While he waited, a familiar dragon walked up and stood nearby, noticing Jax but not immediately realizing it.

“Hey, you were with that wolf from earlier.” Jax said and stood smiling, surprised to find his chance to openly introduce himself at least to the Wolf’s friend was right there. Draco blinked a couple times and looked before chuckling. “Oh! Yeah, sorry that we accidentally ran into you, we were kinda rushing to get back to work. But then I was let out early so I decided to come here. I apologize for what happened.” Draco smiled sincerely and gently as they talked, and nodded a bit as he noticed Jax had ran here. “So, you picking up your kid?” Draco asked as Jax smiled a bit, he was surprised that a dragon that looked somewhat intimidating was really soft spoken and gentle in his mannerisms, it was kind of cute to him honestly because it made the dragon seem somewhat like a child, which wasn’t to far off as Draco was just barely out of teen years.

“Yes, my son goes here, I’m picking him up. I live right across the street in the apartments.” He smiled as Draco nodded, the two seemingly getting along well. “So… I know this is sudden and probably really weird but I have a genuine question. Is that wolf you were with single? If so, what would the chances of maybe getting with him be?” Jax asked, Draco surprised but had a smile on his face, he might’ve just found the right match for his brotherly figure as he giggled a bit. “Oh he’s single, but he’s a single parent to make sure that doesn’t break your ideas.” He said noticing the little brown wolf was walking over and leaping into Draco’s back. “This little guy, Lucas, is his kid.”

“Oh my goodness he is so adorable! That wouldn’t be a deal breaker. I’m also a single parent. If it’s possible I’d love to meet him.” Jax said, his own son walking over and noticed he was talking and waited nearby just to not interrupt. Simon was very mature for his age and was well behaved, he never really bothered his dad unless it was an emergency. “I think I could convince Keith to meet with you. He’s looking for someone right now as we speak so this could be the best opportunity for both of you.” Draco smiled and had Jax write down all his info so he could relay it to Keith, Lucas looking atJax and the paper.

“You’re gonna date my dad? Cool!” The boy giggled a bit as he found the husky very interesting as Draco held him. Draco nodded and folded up the paper and pocketed it before nodding. “I’m Draco by the way. It’s nice to meet you. If you guys hit it off, we will be seeing much more of one another. I’ll see you later, come on Lucas, let’s go.” He smiled and carried the boy off to his home, he always babysat Lucas whenever Keith needed to go out so Lucas was very close to Draco, practically thinking of him as his illegitimate older brother, which he loved having, and hearing that his dad might get a boyfriend who also had a son meant he’d get a second big brother, which made him super happy.

Simon looked at his dad and sighed, he’s seen him get super happy over someone before and always ended up being hurt, he walked over and hugged Jax tightly. “I overheard. You sure you're ready for another relationship Dad, your last one didn’t end so well.” He asked, he was happy his dad wanted to date and was encouraging it but he didn’t wanna see his dad hurting again, he was concerned. Jax sighed gently as he kneeled and hugged the husky pup close and smiled. “I know you’re worried about me, but don’t worry. I have a very strong feeling this time won’t be like the rest. I think this time, I’m making the right choice. And if I don’t, you know what to do.” He smiled, which made simon chuckle.

“I know, I know. If it doesn’t work out and you hurt yourself again, I need to spank you. Trust me, I always remember, I enjoy doing that.” Simon chuckled, outing himself out as being a bit spanking happy, as he’s spanked Jax many times in occasion, and both knew that the boy had quite the strong paw. Jax chuckled and nodded as he nuzzled the boy and carried him home. “Yup. I know it’s your interest so of course I’m gonna let you express it.” He chuckled a bit as he held simon, he was well aware of the boy being a spank happy pup and let the boy have say in the matters of discipline. Simon smiled and relaxed as he was carried, it was gonna be quite the year for him and his dad.

“As long as you know what you want, I’ll be happy Dad. I want your happiness, so if you’re happy, I’m happy.” He smiled gently and kissed his dad on the cheek, nuzzling into him as he did. Jax smiled and sighed gently, rubbing his back as he did. He loved his son and how mature he was, it made him relieved knowing his son was ready to take action when needed, it was amazing to him and he loved it.

—-

Keith sighed a bit as he walked into work again and got dressed once more. He had kept the letter of eviction Draco showed him and shook his head. The dragon only had a week to get moved out before the cops got involved, which was beyond stupid in Keith’s eyes, and he wanted to go and punch the lights out of the landlord for doing such a thing, but he instead kept his composure as he walked back over to Andrew’s office and knocked. After a few seconds the eagle answered the door and saw Keith’s somber look, not even having to say a word as he stepped aside and let Keith in. “I found out what was hurting Draco. And I’m utterly furious that it is happening. His landlord is evicting him for no reason. Draco is a good kid so the fact that this is happening really riles me up.” Keith said as he paced and threw the letter down on the desk. He was overly protective of Draco and every little thing that hurt him would set him off. He wanted Draco happy. Andrew picked up the letter and grabbed his glasses from the desk drawer and put them on, leaning back as he unraveled the letter and started reading, the farther he got the more unhappy his expression got before it ended up turning into full on furious.

“It says here that Draco is being evicted because someone told his landlord he was letting someone live there for free illegally. The fact that he’s doing this without any investigation is really aggravating and I kinda wish I had Draco’s contract with this place to see what it says in there. It’s not impossible but I feel in his position, Draco wouldn’t do something to risk losing one of the cheapest apartments he had ever had.” Andrew said before taking off his glasses and nodded. Keith took a seat in frustration and rubbed the bridge of his nose as he groaned. “Yeah it’s full of bullshit, but it doesn’t matter at all, I’m taking Draco into my house, so he doesn’t have to worry about it. But still, considering he broke down crying just telling me that is proof enough that Draco didn’t do it. It’s bullshit.” Keith said and sighed as he folded the letter again and put it in his pocket. Andrew sighed as he watched keith, he understood his anger and wasn’t planning on stopping him as he sighed, he could only nod.

“Draco is a good kid who deserves better. I’m glad that you’re taking him into your household for the time being since he looks up to you, so it might help him if he knows he can rely on you for comfort.” Andrew said smiling hearing that Keith was going to take him in. “I’m glad he opened up to you though, because I had feared that Draco might do something hasty or dangerous if he didn’t let it out. For now let’s just finish the shift and then after we clock out we head over to his place and get everything moved. I bet Lucas would be thrilled to have his big brother figure moving in.” Andrew chuckled, as did Keith at the mention. Lucas adored Draco like a little brother to a big brother and so Drago was always doing things for the boy. The more Keith thought about it, the better it might be to have Draco in his household. He already practically raised the guy, so it wouldn’t be too bad to have him in his house. “Honestly Andrew, you’re right. I’ve pretty much been like Draco’s father since we started working here, so having him move in might be perfect for him.” Keith smiled warmly at the thought and nodded as he stood. He thanked Andrew before heading out to get back to work, grabbing his phone as he felt it buss in his pocket. There was a text from Draco.

“Hey, I got Lucas home for you. We’re just chilling. I know you might not trust my blind date options but that wolf we ran into accidentally at the diner was at the school. He asked if you were single and I said I’d tell you. When you get home you should considering it. He’s a good guy from what I gathered. See you when you get back.”

Keith was a bit skeptical as he ready the part about dating and sighed. “Draco, why can’t you just let things happen?” He asked, not really annoyed but more just wanting Draco to relax about it. He smiled though seeing that Draco was trying his best to be a great friend and he couldn’t help but feel happy for that, Draco was sweet, and he knew that. “Damnit, I can't say no to him.” Keith chuckled and pocketed his phone, looking towards the kitchen as he walked. He had a new date now, and he didn’t know how special this date was going to be. The wolf walked to the stove and started cooking, his mind wandering as he remembered the wolf and chuckled, this really was going to be an odd date, and he knew it.
