It was a quiet fall morning, and the world around the house was just starting to become active. Birds flew from the trees and tweeted the whole way, slowly making their preparations to leave when the weather became to cold, and squirrels were running up and down the trees gathering food for the winter. Fall was just starting for this little town, and the animals getting ready showed that. The fall starting also meant school was just upon the horizon for kids, and parents were waking up to get their kids ready. One parent was a somewhat tall husky man with grey and white fur, wearing a pair of jeans, a black shirt with a plaid blue button up  unbuttoned over that and a black beanie on his head. The looked at himself in the mirror and smiled as he adjusted his hat so his ears were mostly covered up. His work was against visible piercings and he had them on his ears, but they allowed him to wear the beanie to hide them. Once he was ready, the husky named Jax, silently left his bedroom and walked across the hall of the small apartment and knocked on the door. “Time to get up Simon, school starts soon. Get up and eat.” He called and smiled as he walked out to the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee, pulling down a bowl and a box of cereal so his son didn’t have to climb up for it.

After a few minutes of waiting, the door soon opened and out walked eight year old husky Simon, he looks so much like his dad, except his fur was more straight and not as fluffy as his dad's was and his eye color was a light yellow compared to his Dad's dark blue. The boy had in black pants and a blue sweater on, and had a blue baseball cap on that covered his head of fur. He was adorable, and many people always commented on it but he hated being called such. “Morning kiddo, sleep well?” Jax asked and smiled as he sipped his coffee, his son walking over to pour himself some cereal as he yawned but smiled. “I slept well, just wish school started later, and summer wasn’t ending.” He told his father and sat himself at the table and smiled as he started eating. Jax nodded and relaxed before checking his watch and nodding as he walked to get his keys and wallet, the man worked a busy schedule because of having to raise Simon alone, and was upset he couldn’t walk his son to school because of it. Despite the school being across the street he didn’t wanna rush the boy. He walked over to Simon and kissed his head gently and smiled. “I’ll pick you up after school okay, you be good and have a fun day.” Jax smiled as Simon giggled and nodded giving a thumbs up.

Once Jax left, Simon finished his bowl of cereal and placed the dishes in the dishwasher after rinsing it off. He sighed a bit as he didn’t know much about his father’s situation since his parents split when he was a newborn, so he never really understood why his dad was so stressed and busy. But he knew the husky man loved him and he didn’t put that off, he loved his dad back and was happy he had Jax for his father. Without thinking much of it, he started the dishwasher and walked to his room to grab his backpack, smiling as he looked at a tank on the desk that held a tarantula in it. He dropped a cricket in the tank and shut it before giggling “I’ll see you after school Terra.” He said and walked out, grabbing the spare key from the tv stand and walking out the door, locking the door and putting the key in his backpack before walking down the steps of his floor and made his way to the school, waving to the groundskeeper who always watched the boy when he walked to school, he was good friends with Jax and wanted to help him with the boy if even from the background. Simon checked both ways and quickly ran across the road and headed to the elementary school, he was half an hour early but he had some friends he wanted to catch up with and wanted to make sure he got to the right classroom this year, this marked a new year for Simon and he was excited, visibly jumping a bit as he walked showing how he was happy.

Jax drove down the road with a soft sigh as he made his way to phone repair center and help desk, he worked as an IT guy but mostly in customer service, he answered the phones and made appointments, and on occasion answered a question or two. He was not a very smart man and he knew that, he was grateful the boss even considered him since he didn’t have any form of degree or knowledge, but he was a good peoples person so having him answer calls and deal with people was a good position, and it paid well so Jax was relieved for that. He parked his car and nodded as he put on his name tag and stepped out of the car once it was parked and off, looking around to see his boss, a tall lioness woman in a pair of tan slacks and a dark purple shirt, smiling over at Jax as she made her way over. “Good morning Jax.” She smiled, she really took pity on Jax and cared about his well being knowing his situation with raising the boy alone and she was really friendly and motherly to her staff, and she made sure they knew that.

“Morning Sasha, glad to see you’re happy and ready for the day.” Jax chuckled and smiled at the lion woman as they walked to the building, Sasha nodding as she took out her keys and unlocked the door. “Always a good day to help the technology world, and those inept in that world.” She chuckled, she loved helping people in any way, and this was one way she knew well, she was a nerd to the core and loved all things tech, so this place and her position as the head was perfect for her as it was fully fitting to her personality. She let Jax Into the building and smiled as she followed and locked the employee entrance for safety reason and goes to unlock the store. Jax made his way to his desk at the front of the store and started up the computer and plugged in the phone, which was usually left unplugged overnight for the sake of not having it ring at all hours of the night, knowing some customers would do such. He was ready to start the day as he watched Sasha unlock the main door and grab out a tablet and signed into it, and walked over to unlock the computer for Jax. She trusted her employees but she made it so only she knew the computers password so that way she could monitor the admins side of it to make sure it wasn’t being used for personal gain, she was nice and caring but she also ran a business, and had to be tough about it. As if on instinct the phone rung immediately at opening and Jax took the phone, ready to start the long day.

—-

A bit down the street from the school lived a brown wolf-husky mix of sorts named Keith. The man wore blue jeans, a red t shirt, a brown sweater over it and had a pair of glasses on due to being almost entirely blind. He lived alone with his son, who was currently up and showering to get ready for school. Keith smiled as he walked into the kitchen and started making up a nice breakfast for his son which consisted of eggs, bacon and pancakes, and he made them carefully and almost perfectly. Keith worked as a chef at a fancier hotel in town and, despite it not paying to much, didn’t mind it since it benefited his family in emergency and health as it gave him good plans for both. Keith plated the food and nodded as he went to knock on the bathroom door. “Lucas, hurry up bud, don’t wanna miss the first day of school.” He said as he heard the shower soon stop and the boy suddenly opening the door a little to say something. “Do I have to wear THAT to school dad? I think I can control myself for the morning.” He told him, referring to a pull up. The boy had struggled with being potty trained and wasn’t fully capable of doing it, so he wore a pull up even at the age of six.

“If you think you can control yourself at school. But if you have an accident it would be a while before I could come and get you from school.” He told his son, letting him know of how it would work had he not worn it. Lucas sighed but didn’t wanna take the chance and closed the bathroom door, pulling on a pull up over his chubby bottom and covering it up with a pair of jeans and a white and red baseball shirt. The boy was a big baseball fan and the shirt had his favorite team on the shirt and on the back was the players number. He hoped to play baseball in high school if his little problem fixed itself. He took a comb and brushed down his fur before smiling and happily leaving the bathroom. Compared to Simon, Lucas was the complete opposite and played up his cuteness to really high degrees, which his father just absolutely adored as he smiled seeing the boy walk out and take his seat. Once Lucas started eating, Keith smiled and walked up the steps to make sure he was ready for work, grabbing his chef garb to change into at work and put it in a duffle bag with a few other things, namely the supplies he carried Incase Lucas needed a change, he was an overly prepared father and was ready for any situation, which was good because another thing about Lucas was he was accident prone, and anything could happen.

Lucas was soon finished and was pulling on his shoes, but left the laces untied and wiggled his small foot in the air. Keith walked down to see that and smiled softly at the boy who was waiting and giggling. “Daddy! I need help!” He called happily, Keith knew Lucas didn’t know how to tie his shoes but the fact he felt the need to remind him every day was super cute as he smiled and leaned down and started tying the shoes into knots. He smiled before quickly picking him up and blowing on the boy’s tummy as he started laughing and squirming happily. Keith chuckled and soon stopped before picking up both their bags and smiling as he walked down out and locked the door, walking down the driveway to the car. “Ready for school buddy?” He asked and smiled as he gently pat his sons chubby bottom. One notable thing with Keith was he had a few Kinks he liked, but he never fully released them to his son because he was young, but one he always let out was he was spank happy. He never hurt his son but on occasion the two would spend some time bonding and sometimes lucas will let his dad spank him playfully, he knew his dad was like that and found it funny, and silly. And Lucas even acknowledged the fact his backside was big for his age so of course it’d bring some attention.

Lucas giggled and wiggled his chubby bottom when his dad's hand pat against it and nodded “I’m ready for school.” He said eagerly, he always loved the first day because the teachers were always so fun to meet as he was buckled into his booster seat and smiled. He was borderline the age for using a car seat and the regular seat but for his safety Keith always put Lucas in the booster seat at least for this last year. Lucas smiled and made sure his lunch box was in his backpack and when he knew he was prepared he nodded and relaxed as his dad started the engine of his van and started driving down the road to the school, being slow and cautious as he saw kids running to the school and parents dropping them off. He smiled happily as he pulled into a parking lot, and parked the car. He stepped out of the car and walked back to get his son out, and smiled as he hugged Lucas and sent him off with a slap to his bottom, which made the pup giggle and wave as he ran into the school building. Keith smiled softly as he found the boy super adorable as he ran off and nodded as he shut the door and got back into the driver side and drove off to work, making his way to the hotel and seeing it somewhat busy. With a sigh, he nodded and grabbed his duffel bag and made his way inside through the back employee entrance and rushed to the bathroom. He quickly changed into his chef garb and walked out to the floor looking around.

A friend of his, a dragon named Draco, smiled as he waved. “‘Sup Keith. How’d the date go last night?” He asked. Draco was shorter than Keith but was still decently tall as he had mostly black scales with a blue and green underbelly, smiling at his friend who he had gotten a blind date and wanted to know how it went. “It was alright, but we both agreed it probably wouldn’t work out. She’s very sweet but she’s to carefree and outgoing for me, and she knows I’m just looking for someone who can settle down with me and help me raise Lucas. The date was nice but it might not even work out. Thanks for helping me though Draco, even if it didn't work.” Keith said and smiled genuinely as he noticed Draco was a bit upset thinking he didn’t help at all, so Keith put a paw on his shoulder and gave his familiar fatherly smile. Despite only a few years apart, Draco always felt close to Keith, and always went to him when he needed help. He was glad Keith was so parental because it got him through some tough times.

Draco cracked a small smile and nodded “I’m glad to help in any way I can. Hopefully you find someone that’ll work for you.” He said sincerely and smiled as he walked over to get the door and start serving, while Keith rolled up his sleeves and went to the sink to wash his paws and nodded as his boss walked over. His boss was an eagle man, shorter than him but had a slender build and a authoritative nature to him. “I’m glad you’re here Keith, we have a big order to get ready, there’s a part of two hundred that’ll be taking up the ballroom and you’re one of the only chefs who can handle it perfectly. The others are grateful you’re here to.” He said as Keith looked too two younger chefs in training who seemed nervous about this as Keith smiled and nodded. “Just leave it to me Andrew, these two will be ready in no time and I’ll make sure this event is a success. You just go relax in your office and I’ll handle everything.” Keith told the eagle who let out a sigh of relief and nodded, glad that Keith was so reliable.

“Great, I knew I could always count on you.” He said before starting to walk off, before stopping and looking back. “Also, you might wanna sit with Draco after work tonight and talk to him. I think he’s struggling through something and I don’t wanna see him do anything hasty. Just to… protect him, I guess you could say. He looks up to both of us but he’ll probably feel safer towards you. If you could just talk him down from whatever is hurting him, he could really use it.” Andrew said as Keith looked towards the dining hall with a look of concern. He cared about Draco like a little brother, so hearing he was in some form of pain hurt him as he nodded “yeah, I’ll take him somewhere after work and talk about it to him. I hope the guys okay.” He said, Andrew hoping the same as he walked to his office. Keith started instructing the two young chefs on what to do and demonstrating the safest way to work anything  in the kitchen while also being fast and efficient. While he did that, Jax handled customers where he worked.

What they didn’t know is their lives were gonna be shaken up quickly, for the better. This is how their stories begin.

The special couple [chapter 2]
The first chapter of my new romance and family story “the special couple.”

This story is about two divorced fathers, one struggling to raise his son and the other struggling to find love so his son can have a full family. This story will follow their tales and why they’re so special, in a normal romantic way.

But romance isn’t all that’s involved, all the characters have kinks they enjoy and they’ll be learning slowly what they like and don’t like as the story progresses. What else does Keith like besides Spanking? What does his son think of it? You’ll find out in the later chapters

Characters:

Keith, Jax, Lucas, Simon, Draco, Sasha and Andrew are all copyright to myself

Thanks. I wanted to make two different types of stories because I know death isn’t for everyone lol. So this was a fair trade for me to make
