It was because of the cub going "C'mon cmon!" My quote is from Everybody's got something to hide 'cept from me and my monkey off The Beatles's 1968 White Album. Half of the lyrics to that song consist of nothing but the whole band continously shouting "C'mon'c'mon'c'mon'c'mon'c'mon'c'mon'c'mon'c'mon...!"
All their songs from the White Album were written while they were in the Maharishi's Rishikesh camp in the Indian Himalayas to study transcendental meditation there. "Everybody's got something to hide" was one of Maharishi's many spiritual sayings, and "the monkey" was referring to John's heroin addiction at the time (as in the saying, "the monkey's sitting on his shoulder" for crack addiction).
As much as I remember from the Anthology documentary, John wrote the song about one event that happened there, which was that some day one of the organizers came along and gathered the people to ask, "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon...who wants to go on a ride in a helicopter with the Maharishi?" It was John who immediately went, "Me, sir, me, sir, sir!" Afterwards, Paul asked John why he'd been so keen on the helicopter ride, and John said, "I thought Maharishi would tell me why they've been offering the ride in the first place when we'd be up there!"
