Character Sheet for Blaed the triclops Echidna
Character Description
Blaed is a echidna with three eyes. he can move his third eye individually which will give him a sort of double vision but he's used to it. when Blaed closes his third eye, it will look like a scar on his forehead. he works as a blacksmith and loves to make anything from weapons to jewelry. the one tradition the many echidna triclops clans have is to wear decorative rings or jewelry in their quills and are unique to each one. when two echidnas are in love with each other then they will exchange one of their rings or jewelry on their left quill.
Personality
Blaed tends to be quiet and a little secretive but is always ready to help those in need of his craft. he gets flustered and embarrassed easily, but mostly in the present of his mate, Boaz. he's a bit of a workaholic and on occasion needs to be reminded to eat or sleep.

Background/History
Blaed's origin is from a world that is nothing but the triclops. long before he was born, a war broke out among the clans all started by one echidna. a little after the war started, the female populace were targeted to be annihilated with the thought that the clans can't have more sons to fight with no females to birth them. this mindset brought the entire race to almost extinction.
one clan was left with one last female, Aurora, Blaed's mother. Blaed's father died before he was born and it wasn't until Blaed was five when Aurora agreed to find a new mate to produce daughters. but the one echidna that started the war found about her and slaughtered all the men of her clan to take her as his. refusing to be his mate, she opted to take her life instead, something little Blaed witnessed.
the older echidna turned his sight onto Blaed and fortunately he was saved by a dragon that can travel through the cosmos and had promised Aurora he would protect Blaed if anything were to happen to her. the dragon whisked Blaed away to a new planet where he raised the little triclops and taught him how to blacksmith.Blaed lives the mountain of a magical oasis out in the middle of a desert and can only be found by someone seeking his help or a place to rest. it was here that Blaed met his mate, Boaz.

the only family he has is the dragon that took him in and Boaz
World/Setting
Blaed's home planet is similar to the planet in the Sega games only echidnas live on it. he was taken to Salamin (which translate to mirror or crystal) by the dragon.
Body
Blaed is entirely blue. his body is well tone and he's strong from years of using a hammer. his three eyes are orange and four of his quills (spines? something?) are tied back whereas two rest over his shoulders.
Clothing
he wears a green shirt, dark gray pants with gold cuffs and brown shoes. he has a piece of leather with fur wrapped around his waist. he wears long tan leather gloves and he wears a leather apron when he's blacksmithing. he wears silver and gold rings and a snake wrap around his quills
Accessories
he will sometimes carry a hammer with him. he has a magic tablecloth that will create any food he or anyone else asks for.
