another option is just to stomach the pain, knowing he will feel it too and more. She could basically punch herself, then tell him "serves you righ, look what you made me do to us." Also knowing that the pain is coming makes it sometimes easier. The advantage to this technique is, that there's no defense. If she hits him in the face - he could always retaliate later (whenever she is distracted and not preventing it) with the same and punch her.
Another thing they can do to each other is wait until the other is asleep and they have the body for themselves, then do nasty stuff.
