The "B.K." that Reiko is refering to is the "Bovinian Kingdom". (Not Burger King!)
The Bovine Kingdom is alot like England. They have a very strong navy and they even have black powder weapons.
Obviously, Jessica comes from a land where the "commoners" have a little more freedom and rights.

Also... Jessica is very "book smart" but has very little "street smarts". Not everything can be taught or learned from the pages of a book!

true about book learning.. vs real world........ other random toughs.. this sunday had a church group give me a booklet that included the argument that slavery is part of gods perfect plan to care for the poor and  uneducated... had all these bible verses to prove that god wants people to have slaves as long as they are treated nice...  I found it disturbing...

Really!? Damn! One more reason why I don't go to any church.

I resemble this remark! *grins* Once slavery was abolished in the U.S., corporations quickly picked up the slack and created the Wage Slave. We won't be free of it until we eliminate the legal fiction of the corporation.
