After drawing Saiba Kao, I wanted to draw Chycillian Kao as well. This form was planned a long time ago and is one of the major plot points for Mycelia's story (as well as Dracelia, as it's one of the reasons she's so interested in Kao). While he does get infected, and while he IS planned to be a boss fight a few times, this form isn't in any way evil. He's still the same Kao, just the virus causes him to have a more feral mindset and act more aggressive (though not towards his friends, every time he is "fought" it's due to him either trying to destroy the enemy's weapon, or he believes it's the way to turn him back to normal, since both times he acknowledges that he wants to fight). Later on he just uses the form to it's advantage since it allows him to fly without using Saiba Crystals or Saiba herself, and he is immune to biological elemental attacks like Psychic and Poison. He can still speak though (albeit he can't speak as clearly as before).
1. From what you can see, the virus causes the veins to appear on the body, but it also causes the person to become extremely lustful and more feral minded. It does have it's perks though.
2. I want to clarify that while it is called a "Virus" It's not anything like HIV or anything like that, because it's not actually a virus, nor is it harmful at all. It's more like a gene and the transformation is more akin to Sonic the Werehog or Wolf Link. Keep in mind that unlike Earthlings, who have to give birth to pass on their genes, Starmaninjians pass on their genes to who ever they mate with directly. It usually won't change their physical appearance but this particular gene, the Chycillian gene, has so strong of an effect, it causes this transformation to happen. It is recessive though, so much that children usually don't have it at all unless both parents' bodies have accepted the Gene. That's why Kao is the "father" of Cecyl and Celia. So they would be born with the gene.
3. The transformation looks extreme, but it's temporary. It wears off after awhile or later on, when Kao turns back on his own.
4. That massive tube on his chest is just a giant vein that carries fluids between his genitals and his mouth, allowing him to spit hormones easily and capture mates easier...or that IS the purpose on the Chycillians, but Kao doesn't use it for that purpose, instead using it to eject the new poison powers he gets from the transformation. While he may be lusty for those who really know him, he has no reason to prey on Starmaninjians since it's not hard for him to win their affection naturally. The vein isn't as large on females cause they have the veins on their breasts. The vein is actually hidden between their breasts. so you won't see it normally.
