Once Upon A Time: A Japanese silk salesman married a crane that turned herself human...You've heard THAT story, but do you know the one about their son? When his mother disappeared, she left behind a single egg. From this egg hatched a...Rather interesting-shaped Crane chick. This chick grew into a healthy 10-year-old boy. One day, while out hunting wild bison, he found his home in shambles and his father nowhere to be found. On his search, he met a samurai named Momotaro who spent three years teaching him the ways of Iaijutsu. On his quest to find his father, he encountered a ninja named Jiraiya who taught him Ninjutsu for sparing him. Another three years pass until the boy mastered both arts. One more year was spent while following a lead that a gang of notorious network of silk profiteers had kidnapped him. And when he told them the secret, they targeted the boy. When he finally found his father, he had been starved to within an inch of his life. An opposing group of disgruntled workers agreed to nurse the father back to health...But, it was too late. The boy's father had fallen ill from malnutrition. Alone, the warrior wandered by himself taking odd jobs for his next meal like he did before, vowing to permanently serve under the first man to defeat him in combat. By sheer serendipity, that fateful opponent was the equally storied Jack Rider on his way to save a dragon. The warrior ended up working as the groups Burglar and lived happily ever after...But, is he truly happy?
