Ah, there's nothing like sneaking downstairs, sippy cup in hand and overnight diaper on backside, to catch a little late night television while the rest of the family is asleep. Submitted as a late entry to Butt Month.
Personally, I watched a lot of late night television after I graduated high school. It was the perfect time for it, too... the talk show landscape was shaken up after Johnny Carson retired and a dozen comedians tried to take his place. NBC took a chance on Conan O'Brien as a replacement for David Letterman, who migrated to CBS. I didn't like Conan's show at first, but after a few years on the job, something just clicked, and he became late night's shining star. (Shame about his new, less funny series on TBS, though.)
