And you are still 9% out if if the numbers from top to bottom read 43, 20,13, 9, 5 and 1, equals 91%. So apparently her analyzer is broken or not function right anyway..

You can actually purify water manually

clean container
smaller container (at least clean on the outside. inside does not have to be clean
something clean that can cover the top of the bigger container but NOT the smaller on at the same time (needs to be bendable or have a dip in the middle)
if the cover can be bent, a pebble

put the dirty water in the smaller container
put the smaller container in the bigger container without spilling
cover the bigger container
place pebble on the cover above the smaller container
place somewhere hot enough to make the water evaporate

the water will collect on the cover and make its way to the lower part being pushed down by the pebble after condensing. after enough collects, it will drip into the smaller container

get enough of these running at once and you got your own water purifier

no, just one will not keep you alive. one might get you about an eighth of what you need. a 32nd if you're in a desert during the day. it won't work at all in a desert at night, as the water will freeze.

also, if you had something clean and magnetic, you can get the iron out. this also works with nickel and cobalt.
