Maddie knew she was going to be a big sister, after meeting Muni and finding out her father got her pregnant she was excited to see what her sibling would look like. maddie got to hold the egg and warm it with her body and after a while the egg was wiggling. Maddie one day went to visit her father and she got some news from her father that her sister was going to hatch, excited Maddie ran as fast as she could and sat down next to the egg, soon she seen a crack form on the egg, her eyes lit up as she witnessed her little newborn sister pop out of the egg. as the baby caterpillar climbed out she took notice to Maddie right off the bat. Maddie couldn't help herself and picked up her tiny new sister holding her tiny warm body to hers "hi there, im Maddie, im your big sister!" she said in a calm voice trying not to be to loud. the caterpillar churred softly nuzzling her face, Maddie felt her tail grabbing onto her arm giving it a gentle squeeze. "ill name you... Leafy!" she said excited and happily. "why Leafy? why not another name Maddie?" asked Muni. "yeah like Maddie the second!" her father joked getting Maddie to stick her tongue out at him. "well she likes leaves right? so I thought it would suit her! do you like that name Leafy?" her newly named sister walked on Maddies lap and gave her a kiss on the lips. "I think she likes it!" Maddie said kissing her sister back. "watch out for those mandibles Maddie, not only can they give you a nasty pinch but they might poke your cheek off!" Muni said jokingly. Maddie just giggled and held her sister in her arms. "I love you leafy. I hope you love me to!" Maddie said kissing her head, she churrs back softly and the two hug eachother. "now lets go get you some food! you must be hungry!" Maddie picks up Leafy and runs off to the kitchen to grab some food for her sister. "heh Maddie doesn't know how big of a handful those caterpillars can be. you think they will be ok Barek?" "yeah I think so. don't worry about them." the two followed Maddie and Leafy into the kitchen as they talked, thus began Maddie and Leafy's adventures together. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
