This was an idea for a t-shirt in order to remind the public of the fact that ferrets aren't rodents. Many people mistake ferrets for rodents because of their small size, short legs, and conical face. However, ferrets are classified as mustelids (family Mustelidae), a family in the order Carnivora. In other words, they are close cousins of weasels, mink, and otters; and distant cousins of dogs, cats, and bears. They eat rodents, and are not themselves rodents. Image is based on my actual ferret named Frisky Lucius (2011-2017).
