I was thinking about this for a while, and it went like this

A) Hey those pride shirt things are real cute, I should draw one.
B) What sexuality WOULD Scarlet really, honestly be?
C) Even if I did know it, would it REALLY be right to do the pride shirt thing?
D) Fuck it. Villains have sexualities too! It's not like all -Insert sexuality- are bad people just cause I draw my monster of an OC in a shirt representing her sexuality
E) Okay but foreal tho she's ace as fuck.

Why Ace? Cause honestly she has a reeeeeal complicated relationship with sex. She's more sexually attracted to abuse than the actual people involved.
Sex was never about who or what she likes, lets be honest to ourselves
And just cause one likes orgasms doesn't mean they're sexually attracted to the source of them, bruh~

So yeah, heres the answer to a question no one asked :D

Also i want that shirt

you know, theres services on the 'NET wher you upload an image and they print a t-shirt for you. (Although a single shirt would come a bit overprized, prices get reasonable when you order a few dozen and possibly even cheaper if you order a 100 from a local textile printery (offline) )

(the first one on google I found was https://www.customink.com/ but don't take that as advertisement, this one only ships to US  and Canada - there are other options all over the place)

I'd bet you could sell this shirt here on IB and even make a bit of a profit :)

I'd want one for sure.

Inkbunny uses Redbubble, and it has a ScarletSeed design already. 🐰👕

In fact, it's the most popular design by a significant margin! Mostly T-shirts and stickers, but someone bought it on a studio pouch. We're not minting money on it, but it made back the prize and then some.

But I think Scarlet already has a foothold on Redbubble. Either that, or someone stole her design.

Nah I decided to use Redbubble too. Though thats cool to know how popular mine was :D

Also i wasn't too fond of how the tshirt prints came out, myself, judging from how my shirt and a friend's looked. Didnt do justice to that PINK.
But I'm sure the stickers and stuff look badass.

I think one of the issues there is that the colour gamut that can be produced is limited - especially on a shirt, which isn't exactly an ideal printing material to start with. Magenta's got more blue and less green than pink, after all. It might be possible to add white halftone to give the impression of a brighter hot pink. But then, it already had halftone!

I went for Lunicent's bunny myself (and I wear it a lot), but yours out-sold it by a factor of ten.

Yeah. The black and red one came out pretty washed out too. Need to learn more about colours to use haha.
I think my design is so popular though because as some said to me, it's more subtle. Those who know it's inkbunny know, but those who dont, even non furries, will just think its a rad punky bunny design. Making it relatively safe to wear without questions or assumptions popping up.

It's tricky. We told people it has to "somehow [promote] Inkbunny or [be] connected to the site/community in some way". Almost all of them took that to mean including something which was obviously the Inkbunny mascot, and often the name as well. Some drew a great mascot, but not a great t-shirt, if you know what I mean. (Many later showed up as banner mascot selections.)

These kinds of competitions can be hard on those who don't win, though. Several artists who were big on IB (and who Starling had personally encouraged to enter) didn't make the final cut, which may have strained ties. But it was a commercial decision - the site couldn't justify paying gifts in advance for more winners. And arguably it was bourne out by sales. If anything, we should've picked fewer options; but as staff voting showed, different works appealed to different people.

Yeah, totes. Some like supporting and advertising Inkbunny straight up, with the site link proudly on display.
Others like to show their support more subtly, especially as it's slowly becoming more and more controversial to be acknowledged with such a site (which is stupid but what can you do?). I've yet to see or hear of any real offline toxicity towards folk who are known to be on IB but i can understand the fear baha.
I mean the majority of artists here aren't even HALF as depraved as my stuff can get either so. People need to chill, hahaha

I see that on Twitter from time to time, and I know certain artists are leery about putting Inkbunny on their business cards (ಠ_ಠ), but it doesn't seem affect our stats much (let alone the pageviews).
The reality is that most of the shouting goes into an echo chamber.

Meanwhile I'm running around setting up new caches and upgrading old ones because our bandwidth use keeps growing. I spent $288 yesterday on a new Dallas cache, and I'm already wondering if it'll be enough to handle that area for the next three years. Depravity is a growth market!

I mean I'd say if anyone has the right to be edgy its gonna be the kid named Scarlet who straight up has a cross on her forehead. She comes complete with tragic backstory :D

Just gonna gush for a second. ^^

Her eyes are drawn magnificently; seriously purveying her train-of-thought.
Those beautiful fiery eyes, only complimented by those tinted glasses and the almost-glow of her face; accompanied by her general posture, and the act she's doing.
Intention brought across, however, being nonchalant, and giving a feeling of unbridled personality. Not one to fuck with, as the shirt may imply.

anyway, that's my gushing for now..

I can't help it, I'm insanely attracted to those kinds of peeps. >~>
specifically those kinds of women. >~>

This is a great shirt o: Also the Scarlet Redbubble shirt had small alignment issues (design not centered on the shirt) as well as the mentioned color, unfortunately; I don't know how widespread that is.
