Raphael; “…And there he was. Alone against all the odds…”
*******************

Judging by Leo’s expression Raphael is very good at story telling ;)

It is quite easy to imagine that Raph's growly, raspy voice-- and NYC street-smart accent-- would be the perfect vehicle for an action/adventure story telling.

And is Leo really such a Beta Male in this new series? I could easily see Mikey being so slack-jawed and wide-eyed at the story telling, but LEO???

His voice would be super perfect when he also changes his tone and expressions to bring story to life better :)

I'm not sure about that BUT to me, personally, he would definitely get sucked into a good story when it's also told in a good / right way to his taste :) I also think Leo is a bit "childish", very mild version of Mikey but still so why not? :D

I wonder how usagi is going to look in the 2018 series. Or beepop and rockstedy,or shredder. Doesn't it make u excited?

Hmm, I'm not even sure are Usagi, Bebop, Rocksteady and/or Shredder going to be in TMNT 2018 series. I mean there hasn't been any info that they would be in it. Plus the episodes are only 11 minute long and each episode has their own little story. There isn't long plot which goes from episode to episode.

It is way too short yes, but then again it's no surprise since they are 2D cartoon which is drawn instead of done with computers like 3D animation etc. Drawing takes more time and all so I guess artists are just too lazy to draw longer episodes. I mean 1 second takes 10 frames so drawing even 11 minutes takes A LOT of work. But nonetheless I'm still super happy we get even 11 minutes of 2D turtles since I love 2D stuff <3

I think you are the first one showing Raphael as the kind of a brother that would read bed time story's to his other brothers or to Leo in this specific case. And I totally love it!!! That's so freaking adorable! And your Art is just pure perfection. The emotion on Leos face - He absolutely loves the story and is cough up in the intense moment just before Usagis fateful fight. You can see how much Raphael concentrate on the reading, probably to make everything even more intense and interesting.

Oh, thank you! Now that you mentioned it I don't remember seeing any art about Raph, or anyone else, reading bed time story. Hurray! I'm so super happy you love it!! That's so heart warming to hear ^^ And thank you overall about your comment. You have left one of the most best comments to my arts about these two. And it is true Leo's cough up in the story and Raphael is doing his very best to change the tone of his voice in different moments, bringing the story as much alive as possible with different speed of reading and tones. I mean reading a story is more than just reading it - you have to tell it like if it was alive.
