Leonardo is either; 1.) Sleeping while Splinter is either teaching or lecturing his sons or 2.) sleeping during their movie night. He also has withdraw a little bit inside of his shell to be more comfortable.

My English is not so good, so I normally refuse to wirte comments in that language. But I am actually a regular follower of your Art and a big fan. So I reducet the comments to those pictures that just don't leave my mind anymore. And still I need time to come up with the comment. Sorry for that. I just can imagine how many mistakes you find in here.

I mean mine isn't perfect either since it's not my native language :'D But no matter about the language since as long as the point comes clear what you're trying to say, that's all what matters :3 And I understand you perfectly so don't worry. Besides I see only few little mistakes and they are not bad / kill anyone xD Also, take all the time you need and want to reply back to me. I usually take a lot of time to comment / reply people back so don't worry about that either!

In that case I will do my best to write you a comment more often. XD I also take my time to write a comment or to replay. I am not an artist like you but a Fan Fiction writer. I just started to translate one of my works in to English - it's not that easy. I write in German but my first language is Polish. To replay my readers is my motto. XD So I do know what you mean.
I must admit that I am very happy about Leo's new, more free, nature. Not only is he totally sweet an adorable but I have that feeling he finally received a long overdue break. If that's what you want to do :D It's always good to take your time when replying / commenting as well. Oh being fan fic writer is good and great! Nothing wrong with that :) I write at times too but I mostly draw ^^ I'm sure it's not easy but by using English you learn. I mean I never bothered to learn English in school but when I got my first computer about 14 years ago and came in DA 10-11 years ago I HAD to use English (with the help of translator). Back then my English was super horrible but it has improve incredibly lot ever since! So just keep using the language and it will improve :3
Leo, to me, appears to be a little wild naughty (in pervert mind as well) teenagers but it's great to see how he is / would be without leadership pressures on him instantly. Plus I agree with you that Raphael gets a chance to show how he would be as a leader. He deserves that :)
