Yes!!!  I finally got this thing submitted.  I do not know what was wrong with it that I could not submit it before, but now I can.  I actually had to copy the image and paste it into another renamed preexisting drawing.  LOL.  ^\/^.

However, I digress.  This is the colored version of https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1858492/ and is finally colored.  I worked on this one as one of the last Raven pictures to color because I find that I drew it in such a way that makes him seem he has down syndrome, or at least something wrong with his left eye.  Plus I found this one too plain looking in comparison to the rest of the Raven pictures I have colored thus far.  LOL.  ^\/^.

I differentiated in this one in that I changed the sky to make it seem, instead, there is an ocean in the background.  I simply darkened the blue part and morphed it a bit to add a slight bulge near the top.  I also added a filter to give it a wet like look to it and blurred the area where the sky meets the ocean.  ^\/^.

Traditional pen drawing that has been scanned, digitally cleaned with added filters to smooth the lines and then digitally colored with filters for effects.  (finished).  ^\/^.

Of all the classic Superman cartoons from way back, that one is my favorite on account of all the sexy and manly looking bird men.  ^\/^.

Though I digress.  The character above is Raven the Trickster, a character that appeared in one episode of Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles.  If memory suits me well, the name of the episode is called Heritage.  It is the one episode that he appeared in and he made a brief, 2 second or less, appearance in another episode along with other members of Oberon's children.  He was in his human form though and I honestly do not count that as a result.  Lulz.

Not many seem to know of those older cartoons anymore. Its a bit sad.

Ah okay, thats where Ive seen him. Just reminded me of that Superman cartoon, but couldnt place where I had seen this guy before. I do remember seeing it years back, but seeing it again couldnt figure out where Id have seen it before

Considering that, of all the variations of furry characters, bird men are perhaps the most severely underused.  Besides Raven the Trickster and Griff, both on the same show, the only other bird character that I can remember would be Harakht.  Harakht is a character that appeared in one episode of Conan the Barbarian, and is a villain that possessed the hero character Falconeer.

At first I thought Harakht was made up, but it turns out he is an obscure character from the Conan the Barbarian novels.  Essentially he is like an evil version of Horus that served Set.  In real Egyptian mythology, Set was actually a god that helped Ra fight the source of chaos every night, Apothis, and had a civil war against Horus at one point. Set is the most loyal of all the gods to Ra.  In the Conan universe, it is changed to meet the dark nature of the kingdom of Stygia.  Instead of Set fighting the source of chaos, the snake god Apothis, it is Set who is the snake god and the source of evil.  And, instead of Horus having a vendetta against Set, in the Conan universe he is known as Harakht and the most loyal of gods to Set.

In any case, Harakht showed up in only one episode and looked badass.  Lulz.  ^\/^

I recall seeing more bird people, though the memories are too faint as this was long ago, but I do remember an abundance in some media of the bird people.  You still see some, but they are more modernized like Wind Waker.  Least Breath of the Wild's Rito looked more bird like, they are still more modernized by having arms and wings fused compared to older versions with wings on the back.

But I think the 2011 Thundercats series finale had bird people like that, which worked well if I am not mistaken.

There are more now, but I was thinking back in the 90s.  Lulz.
