Ilia, known in the dragon tongue as Granadyne, is the dragon-goddess of the sun and mother of Vaelysndr.
Ilia is venerated by almost every culture in some form - the power of the sun is a fallback for clergy, especially when fighting the undead. She is particularly beloved by the Tyrvari, who respect all the natural gods.
Ilia can be super sweet and loving like a good momma should be, but her wrath is legendary and she can be a bit self-righteous. She argues frequently with her sister Arteline, goddess of the moon, especially where Tiamat and her "dark world" of Tethil are concerned. Despite their disagreements, the two are good and loving sisters who are known to work well together when they set their grievances aside.
