Character Sheet for Kupoku Natsu
Personality
Leery of strangers and somewhat standoffish in crowds, He's otherwise rather jovial in nature. Generally charitable and eager to help, He has an intense thirst for information, especially occult and creature knowledge. In his home in Aokigahara, he fancies himself something of a Reverend among monsters.
Likes/Dislikes
Has a weakness for junkfood like sweets and burgers. Likes to cook, REALLY likes to play non-physical games, practices energy work regularly by himself. He also somewhat likes to argue, but tries to avoid playing Devil's Advocate.
He is normally rather easygoing and there's few things he dislikes, and few things still he can't tolerate. He has a dislike for disinformation manipulative debate tactics, an intense dislike for passive aggressive behavior, and is outright hostile to willful ignorance. Especially one who attempts to assert authority from a position of Willful Ignorance. (Willful ignorance in this case should not be mistaken for just plain ignorance.)
Background/History
He can recall details from the Tokugawa period of japan and has vague memories doing wandering "Handywork" - planning and laying out farms, cutting timber, frightening outlaws and whatnot.
Despite that recollection, He has trouble explaining an exact birth-point or origin point. This is not entirely uncommon among long lived monsters, Who in their time alive are subject to bindings, banishment and wards.
Today, He ventures into cities to feed his vices, or stays at home in the ever spooky woods of Aokigahra, living in what appears to be a run down, abandoned shinto shrine.

World/Setting
This is my primary "Mask."
That is to say, while I've enhanced this character with a good deal of fiction, this is "Me." This is my Ego, this is my Self Insert. This is how I see myself by default.
Body
Kupoku is a tanuki.
Which is to say, In many ways he's very plain, with few distinguishing characteristics overall. He's soft in structure, built almost like a bear, but by no means obese. He's earthtoned overall in colors, Milk chocolate fur, Mocha light colors and dark chocolate highlights. His face pattern has the darker color start as double black eyes, and wrap about his head to his ears, where the dark color covers his ears as well. The light color begins from the underside of his muzzle, and continues down to his groin (or genetillia)
He has an aged look. Not like grandpa aged, But he's defiantly gone passed middle aged. This may be difficult to depict by color in a cartoonish setting, but can be shown with his headfur style- He could have a Monk's Balding pattern or other hair patterns that conjure the ideals of balding in humans.
His tail is about two heads length, Capped with the dark color, and two light colored stripes close to the cap. The sight of his tail should elicit the impression of being thick, rather then fluffy, almost toy baseball bat in shape.
Clothing
Favors simple clothing. Dark or grey colored sweatpants and hoodies in highly urban settings, eastern monks robes in formal settings, otherwise a simple loincloth or fundoshi is usually just right if there's clothing at all.
