I've had these drawn and finished for MONTHS, but kept forgetting to upload them until now.
A set of six (there is one for each pony) that I drew in honor of my dog Whisper who had to get emergency surgery to get his eye removed. It was a very expensive operation and I needed to borrow money from a lot of people, so I ended up being in a lot of debt. I was selling at an upcoming anime convention though so I was hoping that I would be able to come up with a decent amount of money there to help pay everyone back. My mom always calls him her "Little Pony" because he is a rather large 120 pound dog. Hench drawing and dedicating a MLP set to him.
At the time that I made the set I was completely unaware of just how popular this series was. I knew my bro was a fan, and it was through him watching the episodes all the time that I watched it. I had drawn the set more for fun / to dedicate some art of my to my dog. I wasn't even expecting anyone to know what the ponies were from because I was at an anime convention and it was an American cartoon, not a Japanese one. Boy was I in for a surprise...
I meet all kinds of fans of the show and learned all about 'bronies' they were all really nice too, and really hyped that I had drawn and made these pictures into little badges and notebooks. It was actually a pretty fun experience though my mom was confused on why so many guys were fans of "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic"
