I'd critique him to hell and back explaining how bullshit it is and as a story writer you can't just do these types things. If your gonna kill a character only to just bring them alive again, then you gotta get some sort of thing TO revive them, like maybe a device of some sorts I dunno, but don't pull something out of your ass.
