Brings back memories of my cub days... I always liked this tune, too. It was very appropriate for the last level of the game, especially one as "magical" as Rainbow Road.
My most outstanding critique of this remix is that it seems to be literally the same thing twice, whereas the original switched up the instrument for the second "verse". Otherwise, you captured everything I liked about the original, namely the chimes heard at about 0:28 and the chords at 0:32, and the harmonisation throughout.
