As child I wouldn't have found her scary (yeah. I was a strange kid. or maybe I was just taught right to care about others.) I rather would have asked "Mommy, there is a hurt pony. Can we help her please?" Seeing people hurt is bothering me. It's annoying to look at them. Yeah, don't really feel pity, but annoyance. So I help them so I am not annoyed anymore. Told you I am strange. Also I am glad that in my country you have the DUTY to help. If you don't help someone in need (like someone is wounded), you are commiting a crime. Staying with the person, while waiting for the ambulance, after calling them is mostly help enough.
