I wish in the past I had some diagnosis and medication for possible ADD / ADHD. When focused, I learn crazy-fast.

Most of those medications don't do anything other than shear sedation. It's quite sad really.

Huh, in that case valerian tea (god awful xD) is just as good for me. I felt really motivated - though tired. Caffeine sometimes work; and or a bit of work out.
But there's only so much I can do about it... They wear off, too.

That's strange. Never heard of caffeine working for ADHD patients. But to each their own, I suppose.

I honestly have no clue what's going on with me. But the ADHD got suspicious to me when I tend to change subjects very randomly. Then that I have an urge to get up and go outside, thinking about something, meanwhile walking up and down, clapping, beatboxing (musician xD). That's when I can focus.
3 espressos can make me stay focused while reading for longer bursts before drifting away.
A method is if I imagine every single thing I read (I almost memorize a book and perfectly understand it this way), or if I read really fast, which puts enough pressure on me that I barely can lose track.
Teas which improve blood circulation in the brain seem to help, too.
I have OCD tendencies as well. It's "wonderful" while reading - I restart paragraphs until I didn't properly read them, and even words.
Then the stupidity of having an order of placing things - awesome for room saving though.

That's interesting that you have both. How much medication have you tried? I've found most of it does nothing.

About nothing. xD People are really negative about them, even some better psychiatrists as I heard. I only tried sedative teas, which somewhat indeed worked, but ran out of them and... it didn't actually come to my mind that I should get more. Working out helps a lot too, but I forgot about that as well.

Assuming something herbal like chamomile tea? Not familiar with sedative tea since most of it has caffeine which does the opposite of relaxing people usually.

Yes, herbal teas, which have no caffeine. When I mention healing herbs, people usually think of marijuana, but it's not that. xD
When I had a heavy depression during Christmas I actually knocked myself out with sedative teas (no dangerous way! just had the best sleep ever that way xD).

I bet, lol. I usually just overwork myself until I sleep. Works pretty good for me.

I once did that with 3 espressos ~ was really useful for physical work - never thought I would have an instant sleep at the end of the day with that. x3

Yep, I can understand how that might be a problem. XD
